OH found yelowstickered half price spirits in Somerfield yesterday.

Half bottle of Bacardi £4.01

Half bottle of Glen's Vodka £2.22

She said there were quite a few there and others too including full size Gins and blue curacao.

Might be loacal of course but worth keeping an eye out for.

Its regional but it will come to all eventually. Its a national roll out where they are changing the store layouts and some lines stocked but not all stores will do it at the same time. About two months ago my store (I work for Somerfield) changed over and I got two full size bottles of single malt Glen something or other whisky for my husband for £3.25 each (25% of full price).
And before people start jumping on the 'stores keep the best bargains for staff' bandwagon I left both bottles sat on the shelf in the right section for the full length of my shift (5hrs) before buying them.

Personally I think you should have just grabbed them and to hell with the "Your greedy" brigade, why shouldn't you take advantage of your stores offers? If that means there's none left for the customers so what, I dare say you don't have others to turn up at your place of work to donate their perks to you so why on earth anyone shoud expect you to do so beggars belief

Eh, I can see both sides.
Letting customers have the bargains leads to the customers being more willing to visit the store on the off chance of finding more (and buying other stuff whilst there).
OTOH, Staff are customers too, and they are a guarenteed sale. A bird in the hand and all that.
Thats why I usually leave any bargains I might be interested in out for a few hours and if they get bought by a customer then all well and fine but if they dont, I am free to buy them with a clear conscience that I'm not depriving the customer OR the company.

    Was that TMI? :D
