Bye bye clippy
I suppose that means I can keep the Xmas pressies I've just ordered for myself.

Hi clippy,
Well done for not putting on weight, and paying £278.00 off Tesco, that's a great result.

Completely agree! Numbers is not user friendly at all! I create a spreadsheet then it's too much hassle to keep amending it and then it crashes constantly!
I have fallen completely in love (well as much as one can with a money app!) with Debt Manager. I think it was £2 or £3 but it's half price at the moment so worth having a look. It snowballs for you and creates all kinds of mad graphs. Anyway sorry I sound like a walking advert! :cool:CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%LBM September 2012 - Current DFD Oct 14

well the good news is that today i weigh 2lbs less than monday so am now 11st 0.8lbs :j the bad news is that by monday i will no doubt be 11st 2 again
made my last payment of the month today £144 to tesco
checked xmas budget amd its on track. last jan i worked out a budget for gifts this year, divided it by 12 and set up a standing order to a savings account. will be enough in there by end of nov to get everything but obv i can start whenever i want as the bulk is already in there. i do a similar thing with bday presents which also works well
had a vvvv low spend this week! all i bought was a 39p pen (did a ms and realised didnt have a pen in my bag!) and £3.99 on children in need cupcake set for the cake sale i am holding. i did then pay £10 deposit for my xmas meals so was a v cheap week!
going to see my friend that i am going to nz with this weekend so we are going to book a few nights acom and a bus ticket. wont come to much as we are staying in hostels and bus is about £30 between us. hope to not spend too much this weekend. we are having a night out tonight (but dinner at hers 1st), spa 1/2 day tomorrow (inc lunch, already paid for), meal out (already paid for as we bought a voucher deal) and then cinema. sunday maybe shopping, can start on xmas maybe. hope to not spend my £50 but will see!

Your planned weekend sounds fantastic, and well thought out, wouldn't it be great if you could keep that 2lb off though, you'd be so close to moving into the 10 stone somethings. Can you figure out a strategy????
Wish I had been following your present savings process, mine have not been budgeted for at allWeight 12 st 2lb - Now 11 stone 1 lb (-15 lb)

Greetings from Liverpool  currently sitting on sofa while friend is asleep. Had a nice weekend so far. Fri came in way under budget as we just went to a few bars.
Had our spa break yest which was all paid for but ended up paying an extra £22 as I upgraded to a shellac manicure and added a bikini wax. The manicure is AMAZING!!!! Guaranteed to not chip for two weeks and they said it would not be affected by the chlorine in pool like normal polish. They are so shiny and sparklyI know a few people that have them and they said they last a month. Will see how it lasts but very tempted to carry on getting them but they are about £30  if it lasts the month I will consider tweaking the budget. Also looking out for groupon etc deals to see if they have any.
Then we went out for dinner using a groupon voucher. I paid an extra £5 to have duck and an extra £2.50 for extra veg. Dinner was very nice
Due to sky fall being out which neither of us fancy there wasn't really anything on that we wanted to see as it was on in most screens so we just came back and watched the X factor.
Was naughty yest and had creme egg and pack of wotsits  will see tomorrow that will do to waistline!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
