What needs ironing from yesterday? If you dry iron it it will be easy to iron and will dry quicker :).

    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • so lots has been going on with debt busting but balances are not coming down yet! lots earnt but got to wait for it to be paid! :(

overtime- have earnt abour £430 in overtime this month at work  :j hoping to take home around £230 after tax, ni, student loan and pension. wont be paid til mid oct though

ms- had a fantastic month so far. was allocated 18 audits, bit of a panic as only had a few days to do them but got them done! also got more shops than usual as well. current total of jobs done/booked in sept is £453!:j most wont be paid til mid oct

also just bought new home insurance for £108 :) thats over £75 cheaper than renewal and a lot of quotes. no cash back available but ones with cash back were a lot more plus need to wait months for it (only got paid last years 2 months ago!). i paid the whole £108 on cc as seemed silly to pay extra to pay monthly. so now i dont have to pay £16 month for insurance :)

so rough plan for next two months min payments are-

sept- £417 due by end of month. currently £38 od on debt account (needed ink etc for ms) so that will be gone and rest off halifax card (£379). will then only owe £33 on halifax plus the £108 insurance.

oct- min £970 from rent, o/t and ms. £141 to clear halifax, £25 min payment for virgin then remaining £804 off the tesco card. tesco balance down to £1573.

that is much better than the original plan at beginning of diary :D

plus thats not taking into account any more ms i get in sept or any i do and get paid for in oct so likely to be even more cleared by end of oct!

even if no more is cleared and i only earn £160 in nov and dec, with the rent i will still only owe £573 on tesco instead of £900 so will be less to transfer.

will try my hardest to clear as much more as pos but realistically its unlikely i will clear it all! but still much improved!:A

  • Right as well as debt busting I also want to do some fat busting! Decided to keep track on here then you can tell me off if my progress is not good!

I am not overweight and my Bmi is normal (but the top end!) but I have flab around my stomach, hips and thighs which I would like to loose. I am 5'7, weight 11s 1lb and sz 12 (I think I have heavy bones!).

Not quite sure what my goal is in terms of weight. Think I would like to get down to a sz 10 so maybe 10st (or 9s 13lb so it's single digits!). Really just want to loose my muffin top!

I'm not following any particular diet as my meals are healthy, cook from scratch, don't use oil, salt etc... Also eat healthy snacks like fruit. My problem is my unhealthy snacks in the afternoon evening where I binge on junk even when not hungry, eg will have crisps, cake, sweets, choc etc to the point where I feel a bit sick. Almost don't have will power to resist, I go to the shop and buy it, I don't ever have it in the house! Some days I will spend £2 on junk so it all adds up!

So plan is to eat normal meals and healthy snacks and banish the junk! Will allow myself one treat at the weekend. Will also go to gym as many times a week as can manage. Aiming 7 days per week to start. I do classes which I enjoy when I do go and do lots of them so it's variety. Was much better at going when you booked in advance as I had to go. Now you can't book so have to just turn up which is v annoying!

I am not going to be anti social about my diet either so if I am away for weekend or go on meal out with friends, will still go for curry etc.... Just will not eat loads of junk as well!

So maybe 1lb per week will be a good. So on 23rd dec I should reach my target! From experience I will prob loose more than 1lb week until I get to 10s 10lb then it will get harder! will put in sig to keep track!

And on that note I must get dressed to go to the gym :p

  • Well done on all that Mystery Shopping - £453.00 is a great result.

I am sure you will be able to reach your weight and toning goal with the regime you are talking about, especially as you enjoy the classes at the gym.

Just keep going, even if you have a few bad days, or a rotten week, don't give up. That is where I have gone wrong in the past, i've given up to quickly.

    Will follow your progress xx.

  • So yesterday was good, went to gym apparently the class burns over 700 calories. Not sure how true that is but certainly felt like it! Didn't eat anything unhealthy until the evening as my housemate made some muffins and wanted me to try one. Just had one and they were small.

Today I have Eaten no junk :) back is a bit sore so didn't do the pump class it involves a lot of lifting and bending. Just went for a swim instead. Pretty hungry now...the carrot didn't fill me up much as I had an early dinner.

In other exciting news I just claimed my meerkat toy from my insurance. Disappointing it takes up to 90 days! Wonder who I will get!

  • hmm so not updated for few weeks! was bad last week and did not excercise enough and ate a few naughty things :o

weighed myself on monday and gone up to 11.4:eek: been good all week snack wise but i have eaten out 3 times. been swimming, did a gym session and had body pump today. debating whether i should go to body step later but my legs are a bit shaky so not sure! :p aiming to do a class tomorrow and sunday as well. will report stats on monday (i weigh and measure myself mon am).

money wise not gone great as added a few things to cc and needed extra spends. reduced by about £350 this month so still ok ish.

i met a guy last weekend and we have been on two dates which explains two meals out and some extra cash needed. also decided to join a socialising site to make more friends which again is accounting for extra spends as off for drinks tonight. also booked a spa session for oct when i visit a friend and bought my new winter coat (£35 tescos...bargain:A )

will try to keep costs down but still want a social life!

tasks for this week are to cancel british gas servicing and set up a standing order for the same amount to an unused savings account to build up a buffer to save for repairs/replacement of boiler. also need to shop around for better mpi as currently with my mortgage co (was at risk of redudancy so was all i could get at time). no longer 'at risk' as they have made the cuts but work in local government so worth having.

have had someone round to measure my window for a quote to get it replaced. need to wait for it to come through to decide whether to go for it or put it off.
