sooo the current situation...
halifax cc- £579.24 (this is spends from holiday). not sure of apr but doesnt matter as will be cleared next month by 20th
tesco cc- £2396.62 (this is my new zealand flight and other ahem misc spends) this is 0% till oct(?)
virgin cc- £1813.82 (this is whats left owing from the hol i just been on) 0% till march
total- £4789.68
i am also booking a trip to edinburgh for new yearwill need to pay about £200 for this in the next week so added it on to the above balance for the halifax card already
so in addition to the above i need to pay tax bill in jan 2013 (about £550), the remainder of my new zealand tour (approx £1600 dep on exchange rate when i pay) and also spends for new zealand (budget £1500)
so i have just had a small pay rise :T not a lot but every little helpsit is part of the one i will get when i qualify so means less of an increase when i qualify but more now
i have decided with my wages they are just for spending and not debt. if i make my budget too tight i just dip into debt account for clothes, weekends away anyway! so atm my weekly spends are now £40 and i have just under £60 left each month. the £60 will be used for new clothes, weekends away etc... and can be topped up by any left over weekly spends (unfortunately not yet saved any up so edinburgh cant be paid for this way!)
so that leaves my 'debt account' to repay the debt. each month i should have at least £500 in this. £340 rent from my lodger and £160 ms money (more than doable based on current earnings)
brief plan of action is-- sept- clear halifax
- oct-dec- knock £1500 off tesco (leaving £900 remaining)
- end of dec- pay £1600 tour on my halifax card, transfer £900 from tesco to halifax card. cancel tesco card.
- jan- pay tax bill
- feb- get new 0% balance transfer card and transfer the £2500 from halifax onto it and the £1813 virgin card. total on new card will be around £4300. save £500 for spending money
- march-april- will be on holiday. £500 each month for spends (whilst i am not getting ms money i still get rent and the amount saved from food, petrol, weekly spends etc... will be more than the ms money anyway)
- may- jan 2014- pay £500 each month to new credit card and clear by jan 2014.
therefore need to aim to clear around £600 each month
for the above i will try and do more ms (often i willl make more than £160 month from ms but thats the lowest so i used that figure). i will also save all extras from my wage eg overtime, mileage etc... not much opportunity to do overtime but i did do 4 hours today and hopefully will be able to do a few next week
to make a start i have sorted out 40 books to sell (will sell on work intranet for £1) and will also count piggy at the weeken. piggy is only small but he has lots of shiny silver coins in him:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

Where too next then.

Yay. peefer coughed up £40 for me last week :T.

So not much happening on debt free front. As I was on holiday I didn't do any ms so no payments arriving
have been doing ms so just awaiting payments now. Got quite a few already booked for sept which is good. As I generally book them in advance I had not thought I would get any in aug but managed to do £60 worth since hol
Did 4 hours overtime on bh mon and going in today. Not a fixed time or amount of hours as we are working on a project for a colleague so I will do as much as I can cope with (it's very intense concentration work on the comp and I got a headache after 4 hours last week!). Also doing overtime next Sunday which will be around 6/7 hours. Let's say I do 6 today then that's 16 in total which is £320 at 1.5. Think I might get dbl time on a sun so will need to investigate. After all deductions i should take home at least £200 (more if double time) :j
Book selling not going well- only sold one at £1! Books are chic lit so don't seem to sell. Tried the sites that buy them and they are not accepting my titles. Amazon trade in will accept at 25p book so worst case I send them them and use the voucher (around £10) to but me some kindle books :DBor be good and save it towards presents
Not counted pigggy yet, will do tomorrow as got ms at a bank on mon so can pay it in then!
Not sure if Edinburgh going ahead as no one else seems bothered! O well £200 off the total above if not!
Most exciting news of the this week is that I can go to the gym again :j:j I froze my account for aug as I was away for 3 weeks and have missed going. As I've not been I have eaten junk as well and am 5lb heavier than when I went on hol  will be good from today!
In other news I am getting my new car on tue. Not particularly excited as getting the same car I have but having to pay an extra £26 month fr the privilege  I lease it from work so have to get a new one whether I want to or not! It is still way cheaper than buying one and all the associated costs but annoying its gone up 25% to get the same features:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
£25 to tesco card:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0

£25 dd to virgin has also come out of my account for sept payment.
have also done two very small payments to round up tesco and virgin as getting sick of typing the pennies out! sp 62p to tesco and 82p to virgin. will round halifax up next week when i make a payment.
have removed edinburgh amount from halifax balance and will just add it back on if and when its booked then i will know the full amount. there were a few purchases outstanding when i did the halifax balance and also im waiting for money from my friend for a hotel. so the balance is higher than it was (but less than it was when it inc the edinburgh amount):j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

Polish and Hoover downstairs
