1. No purchase is needed to participate and participation is free of charge;
Participation:
2. The Yamaha 2012 MGP Online Competition (further referred to as; the Competition) is
organised by the limited liability company Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., with its statutory seat
in The Netherlands, Koolhovenlaan 101, 1119 NC, Schiphol-Rijk;
3. In order to participate in the Competition and be eligible to win a prize, contestants have to
become a member of the Facebook group on the Competition’s Facebook page and stay a
member until the end of the competition, and furthermore fulfill all elements of the
Competition as described on the Competition’s Facebook page;
4. The Competition is only open to persons residing in the following countries: Austria, Belgium,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary,
Ireland, Israel, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland,
UK, Ukraine, Slovakia, Turkey;
5. Participants must be 16 years or older, respectively 18 years or older, and only one entry per
person is accepted; the main motorcycle prizes (1st and 2nd prize) can only be won by persons
with the age of 18 and older, the scooter, kids bike and Yamaha goodies can won by everyone
of 16 and older;
6. Employees, their family and the assigned jury of Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. and all Yamaha
Motor Distributors as well as Yamaha dealers and their staff are excluded from this
competition;
7. Yamaha reserves the right to exclude entrants from the Competition, if Yamaha presumes that
participant has breached the terms and conditions of the competition, if the participant has
mislead Yamaha or cheated in any other way, or, for any other reason or fact that would lead
Yamaha to the presumption that participation in the Competition should be withheld from
that participant. The period to enter this Competition is from <19/08/2012> (start date) until
<28/10/2012> (end date);
The Prizes and the Winner:
8. This competition is a Pan-European competition. The available prizes are the following:
a) 1 x First Prize: YZF-R1 50th Anniversary WGP Special Edition, two paddock passes to the
2012 Valencia MotoGP and on 11/11/2012 one night hotel accommodation for 2x persons
b) 1 x Second Prize: FZ8 50th Anniversary WGP Special Edition
c) 1 x Third Prize: Aerox 50th Anniversary WGP Special Edition
d) 15x Y50th Anniversary WGP Kids Bike (wooden bike)
e) 100x Yamaha 50th anniversary goody package consisting of cap, lanyard and key chain
9. The main prizes have a market value of: WGP50 R1: 15.995 Euro, WGP50 FZ8: 8.995, WGP50
2.795. > (*market value indication according to German Price List, including VAT). WGP Kids
bike 125 euro
10. The winner(s) will be selected by an independent jury appointed by Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.
Only participants who have answered all of the questions correctly and who have furthermore
complied with the other elements of the challenges as described on the Competition’s
Facebook page are eligible to win a prize. Out of these entries, Yamaha will select the most
original answers to the question why a participant would like to win the Yamaha WGP
Anniversary bike. The winners will be appointed accordingly. The judge's decision as to winning
entries is final and no correspondence will be conducted;
11. The winners including their names are communicated on or after <31/10/2012> on the
Competition’s Facebook page and the grand prize winners will also be contacted by email or
telephone.
Collection of prizes
12. Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. will contact the winners via the contact details provided by the
winner. If for whatever reason the winner does not claim his or her prize within one month of
the first attempt of Yamaha Motor N.V. to contact the winner, then Yamaha Motor Europe
N.V. reserves the right to choose another winner and to re-allocate the prize to such new
winner.
13. The ceremonial hand over of the main prize (WGP50 YZF-R1) will be in Valencia, Spain during
the MotoGP on 10 & 11 November 2012. All prizes will be delivered to the winners at the
address of the national Yamaha dealer closest to the provided home address of participant /
winner;
14. Winner(s) will be asked to participate in post-event publicity, The prizes are non-exchangeable,
non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash alternative available;
15. The prizes will be delivered “as is” participants are solely responsible for compliance with local
laws such as a legal driving licence, personal protection wear, and technical requirements
regarding the prizes and the use thereof;
Personal Data:
16. All personal data provided during this competition (including pictures uploaded by
participants) will solely be used for the purpose of this competition and will be deleted when
all winners will be definitely determined.
Disclaimer:
17. Participant will not hold Yamaha liable for any printing errors, technical fault or mistake or
fault of whatever nature relating to this Competition. Yamaha may not be held liable for any
technical error as a result of which a participant cannot participate in the Competition.
Termination and Modification of the Contest:
18. Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. will be entitled to terminate or modify the competition and to
substitute the prizes by other similar prizes, or to modify these rules prior to the closing date
by prior notice. Any modifications will be published on the Competition’s Facebook page.
Participant will not hold Yamaha Motor Europe or any of its affiliates liable for such
termination or modification;
Taxes:
19. Any taxes that become payable as a result of the dissemination of the prizes will be borne by
Yamaha Motor Europe N.V.
Complaints:
20. Any complaints with regards to the Yamaha 2012 MGP online competition may be addressed
to: Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., Koolhovenlaan 101, 1119 NC, Schiphol-Rijk, The Netherlands;
Choice of Law
21. This competition and its rules and conditions comply with the Dutch Code on Promotional
Games of Chance;
22. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are subject to Dutch law. Any dispute arising
out of the Competition will be brought before a competent court in Amsterdam#StaySafeWishing you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year0
