CRA's and BR

I'm 3 months into my BR and so far no CRA has included or mentioned my BR on the report. Is this normal? How long does it take? Part of me thinks maybe they won't notice (!) and that might be good, but then again I need to rid myself of the defaults that are there.

Hi Pippa, still think it is early days and it will show up soon. We always say to allow 2/3 months for your discharge to show up after AD, so could be similar time frame.
Best wishes

Try as I might I can't find myself on the London Gazette register despite extensive searches. I'm on the Insolvency Service site. Is there a possibility I might not be on the London Gazette site? Is every BR person there? Can't understand why I am not but am now wondering if that is why the BR hasn't appeared on my credit files."Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. You should be on there. Short of a foul up in the Gazetting by the OR.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

CRAs should also in theory get notification direct from the Insolvency Service (so I'm told), so really should be no reason for it not to have been flagged up.
Not a big issue now I suppose, but it will be something to sort once you are discharged if it still doesn't show.
While it might be superficially nice not to see it, it will eventually be better to have everything correct on your file. The good and the bad. When things that should show do not, it's a indicator that something somewhere is not quite right.Which may come back and bite you just at the wrong time if not straightened out.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I'm definitely not. Should I contact the OR? Very tempting to keep quiet, I haven't told a soul I am so ashamed and you are on the IS register only for the year plus 3 months so it will be gone then never to be seen again.
My address is witheld due to previous DV could that be why?
Very tempting to leave it.
eta yes definitely need to sort the CRA files so that is all correct but tempted not to alert the OR to the London Gazette ommission?"Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." Dalai Lama0 -

Could well be the reason, yes.

Though on the post 2010 section of that link it only says the address will be witheld, nothing else. On the IS register all other details are there, previous address my date of birth etc. so I am quite identifiable. I'm hoping the Gazette ommission won't be noticed."Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." Dalai Lama0
