This firm is apparantly helping prepare accounts in order for self employed people to maximise thier chances of gaining a mortgage.
Is this dodgy? Are there Tax implications - would tax returns match up with the accounts this mob help prepare?
They do not appear to be Chartered / Certified and the site is as at today still under construction.
Surely lenders would soon spot a ruse when they for example make checks with HMR? Should the FSA be made aware?

it is probably best not to name names directly, but it is always a good idea to Google everything and everyone.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?

Where mortgages for the self employed are concerned, I have seen suggestions that not all expenses be taken off the income so as to maximise profit, but this does indeed go against the usual practice of using expenses to minimise profit and pay less tax.
It would certainly cause trouble if the mortgage company asked for the details from the tax return.Who having known the diamond will concern himself with glass?
