    Urghhhhh my hair:(
Luckily I only used a semi permanent:o the fringe is darker than the rest though - I put that on first and it must have been on for up to an hour by the time I did all round the back...the box said leave for 15m:o the sides are a nice colour but e fringe is darker, I'm so depressed about it:( I've washed the fringe over and over but it doesn't seem to be fading. I'm contemplating getting a colour remover but worried that'll go wrong too. And typical, I'm going out on the town on Saturday night...I'll look a right numpty. So, more washing again today and just hope it lightens a bit to match the sides.

We were going to go to ikea today but think we'll leave that for next week. Dd1 is off for lunch out with her friends, so I'll give her a bit of money towards it. Neither of the girls have had any money this week, they've been very lazy and stayed in. Dd2 did go to a friends house on Tuesday but she only took£1.40;)

I finally got round to ringing sky and asking about moving our broadband and line rental to them. They offered the same deal I'd seen online - so I got off the phone and did it online instead, going through TCB too. Should be £101 cashback:T £95 has tracked, will check for the full amount if it doesn't appear. I also get a £25 M&S voucher:) All that and my monthly bill will go to £60 instead of £83:beer: I took out sky movies just for the holidays for the girls so once I've cancelled that the bill will be under £50...great;)

Tax credits have gone in today, moved some around. Most of the months bills have come out now - sky and council tax just left, so the money that comes in now will be for next months bills.

Just finishing my coffee then time to go wash the fringe again:o I've used head&shoulders, fairy liquid...do Igo for the colour remover though?!

  • Have you tried bicarb of soda? And olive oil is good you put it on, cover in cling film and heat with the hairdryer and leave as long as you can then rinse out. Worth a try..good luck.

Hi KM, lovely to see you again :)
I'm going to buy some oil this afternoon...we only have sunflower oil here;) I'll get a colour remover too, but will try the oil first. Hope that works as I'm terrified of putting colour remover on! Shame as I do like the colour on my hair, just not the fact that the fringe is a shade darker:o
Fingers crossed I sort my mop:p

Yippee, I have my own hair colour back:beer:
it took a £13 colour remover though that stank of rotten eggs...but it's done the trick, thank goodness:D

So, that was what I spent my afternoon doing:o We nipped to B00ts and Asd@ before that when I also bought some storage drawers for dd2, a very nice new duvet set for dd1 (only £4.50) and nail varnish for dd.

Early start tomorrow as eldest is off to see Tom Daley at a book signing:D Ex is taking her as its near where he works...but got to drop her off by 8, eek:eek: she'll be out all day until ex finishes work and can bring her home...peace for me;) Dd2 is going into town with a friend then I have to take her to the orthodontist.

I can now get excited about my weekend with my friend now my hair's back to normal:D

Wahoo, just checked my topcashb@ck account and my £70.70 from SSE when I changed supplier in the old house was payable at long last:beer: I've been checking for weeks - it was expected to be paid in June. So I've just requested that to be paid into the bank...so pleased:D Reckon it might be worth me checking my tariff with the new supplier in this house. I'm with British Gas which probably isn't e cheapest...I shall investigate soon:D

I just ordered dd2 some jeans online, £25 argh. My eBay earnings will pay for that though, I did put them aside to buy new clothes when girls need them seeing as a lot of what I sold was clothing of theirs.

Glad your hair is back to how you like it. I always used to end up far darker on top than the the sides. What I do now is dye the back underneath first working my way up to the top then start timing as soon as my fringe is done. Doing mine again tonight as I've noticed the grey showing through again . I cut our fringes last night too - always feel better once that's done - we're quite happy with the length of our hair at the mo so didn't think it was worth calling the hairdresser out (plus I'm a tightwad at the moment :D).

I'm very jealous of all your savings and cashback earnings. I've spent so much the last 2 weeks - next month will be very frugal.

Have a lovely night out tomorrow night :)

Thanks ladies - I'm qute excited about our night out now my hair is back to normal;) My friend will be here soon, then we're dropping girls at the ex's then off to town. Tonight is Nando's for some food first, then on for drinks and dancing:D No doubt I'll feel rough as anything tomorrow - I've written the day off already:rotfl:

With regard to the money - well, I feel I've been spending way too much:o I only have the £122 cashback cos I thought it was a good idea to book a £2700 holiday:eek: Still, its one huge thing to look forward to:D

DD1 had a brilliant day yesterday- she went to a Tom Daley book signing - he spoke to them and she's just besotted;) She had to buy the book from WHS so she could get it signed, though she'd already bought in on Amazon...so she bought it again to get the receipt...now I have it in the bag ready to return for a refund as she got the Amazon copy signed (and they didnt even ask for the receipt:)).

    Anyway, better get going:D

Jealous of the Tom Daley autograph and being able to talk to him. He is such a fantastic role model!

Enjoy your evening out. I was going to go out tonight but i haven't felt great this week. So a quiet night it will be!

I think it is okay to spend a lot when it is something great like an amazing holiday! :p x

Dear oh dear, I'm rather fragile today:o

Had a good time though, ate in Nando's, lots of wine after, dancing with young boys:rotfl:

I am cringing at my money spending in the last few days though. I didn't buy much in town yesterday, but £17 in boots on make up bits, £14 on leggings for dd2 and jewellery in new l00k...oh it's not too bad I guess. I returned ond of dd1s Tom Daley books for £13 refund and she didn't spend anything at the shopping centre so got back the money I gave her to take. I'm just cringing that I spent £45 on a night out:o I guess it's not like I do it often-last time we went out was in march and my friends coming bsck in December.

Just lying on sofa watching a film, still in my pjs, nice. Girls back later so making the most of the quiet.
