  • hello woman! guessing you're on your jollies still - ah how I wish I was there in the beautiful countryside & near the beach. Hope you found the spa, no its wasn't the poolside ones it was an actual real live one!

Hey try not to fret re being single. I was single for a decade and have been happily with oh for 5 years now. The best comes to those that wait. Might be time to start putting yourself out in the dating scene. I would recommend joining a dating agency, if nothing ellse from what I have heard its a massive ego boost with humdreds of men chatting you up, flirting and taking you out on dates. What's not to like with that??? x

    Afternoon:)

So, happily back home after the week away;) It was a good week, though the weather was pretty rubbish for a few days, brightening up when we had to come home of course. Still, nice to get away...though I shall never spend a week sharing a caravan with 7 other people, what a squash:D It was lovely to get home:rotfl:

I didn't spend too much either - £120 in cash, £40 petrol and £8 Mcds lunch on the way there. The £120 included a meal out one night and full cooked breakfasts on the last day as well as drinks, snacks etc. my sis paid for the food shopping so I do still owe her for that but it won't be more than £45 for my share. So not too bad. As we spent less than I expected I treated us to Chinese last night...fab. I was so tired, hadn't slept well on thurs night and the drive home took a lot longer as there was an accident on the motorway so we skipped it, went the scenic route...and I got lost:o Not for long - Mu trusty free sat nav app on my phone sorted us out:T

Today I have got all the washing done and dried - 5 loads I think, including a lot of towels. I went to T's and got the food shopping and petrol. Food £79 though £10 of that was essential toiletries. Just caught up on the weeks Emmerdale...;)

I need to go take the last suitcase up and put some clothes away. I didn't realise it was half past 6 already...had a rather lazy afternoon:o

    Oooops...I've booked a holiday for next summer:o

Bit scared as I've committed to a lot of dosh on it...but, with eldest dd being 16 next year, we might not all go away together for much longer. We're going with my sis and her family too, maybe our last trip as a group of 8. We definitely won't go in 2014 so next years a treat for after dd1s GCSEs.
The full amounts not due until April, so will sort a balance transfer once I've paid and hopefully get 0% on it for a while. I wasn't going to book, but we have to live a bit...it's something to work hard for:D

Anyway, had a quiet day today. Nipped into town with dd1 and picked up some school blouses I'd ordered for them both, returned some jeans and top to N3xt and bought dd much needed undies in new l00k sale. Also bought hair dye...bored of mine, it's too yellowy, so gone for a dark reddish one which I'll do tomorrow:D

I'm excited as my lovely bestie is coming here at the weekend for a night out. We shall hit the town, Nandos first then some drinking, can't wait:rotfl:

I also want to get to Ik£a this week for another chest of drawers, I don't have any right now. With girls now having their own rooms, the 2 sets of drawers we had went to them so I have none. I think we'll go there on Thursday. £65 for the drawers I want.

Thank you lovely ladies:) I felt a bit silly posting here when I'm meant to be saving money but instead I go and book a holiday for just over £2.5k:o But, I know I'll do it in the most sensible way I can. I don't have to pay the balance until April, so will be arranging a 0% card then paying it off as soon as I can.
As it may well be he las time we can go with my sister and her 3, I want to make it a fab one:D

Poles re the hair.....well, it's so much darker:o You know what my hair was like, well it's now mahogany:eek: I'm still getting used to it..I think I like it, but it was really hard actually putting the dye on on my own so dd2 helped me...but there are a couple of areas where it's not as dark, arghhh.

DNMS The degree....hmmmm;) I'm waiting to hear from the uni about having more time yet again, due to the fact that I had to unexpectedly move house...that meant I just put the work to the back of my mind. I have about 4 big essays left and hopefully unitl Deember to complete them. If the don't approve my mitigating circumstances then I'm stuffed, but hopefully.... I have my research project I'm meant to be writing up during the hols but I'm so out of practice. I've not done an reading or work for uni in about 6months. Maybe I should set myself a challenge toxic out all my work today:o

No plans for today, we are having a very lazy week:p

So, no plans to leave the house today so it should be an NSD...I need to get some of them in...summer holidays are not good for saving money;)

Yesterday I just nipped to T's to pick up a bread bin that I ordered online and had delivered to store - £8.50. I wanted a roll up one as opposed to one with a lid like we have as its tucked under u cupboard and a right pain to get the lid off.. Was pleased with the price:) I got a few bits of groceries while there, spending £20 altogether but that included a bra for me for £4 (and is actually a really good fit, I'll buy more of that style), and some pens and pencils for us all for back to school for £2.50. I must transfer that £6.50 into my grocery account.

I ordered a few bits from the N£xt sale online - lots of things were added the other day. I have kept a very nice black top with cut out shoulders to wear out on Saturday night - £6, fab! Also kept a 2 pack of shortie pyjamas for just £10, a cheap vest to put away for holiday next year and a nice black print top for autumn. I have some black ankle boots on their way - I hope I like them as they're only £30 and I'll be set for winter then as I already have brown boots I bought last year:D

I won't need to get any more food until next week - meal plan is done up to the weekend, then my friend will be here on Saturday and girls will be at their dads and they'll get fed on Sunday. I think I have enough meat to do meals until next Thurs when my grocery acc money will be topped up, I'll just need fresh stuff at the start of next week.

Right, I must get showered and get on with something. Doubt I'll see girls for a few hours yet...still snoozing;)
