Afternoon:D (nearly wrote morning as it still feels like it, being that I woke up at half 10 and aren't dressed yet:o)
Girls stayed at their dads last night so had a quiet evening and lovely lie in. Nice just to chuck something easy in the oven and not faff around cooking a dinner. Hm curry tonight though.
So, really need to go get dressed and crack on. I have put the school clothes on the washing line and another load is nearly ready to go out. It's not too nice out toda, a bit dull, but hopefully it'll all dry. I have lots of ironing , for a change, so might do that soon and catch up on a few bits on the sky box.
I fancy going to a sainsburys for the bits we need this week...I have a £3 off £20 coupon and don't need too much so might be just right. I also want to check out their clothes...supermarket style me:rotfl:
I have £120 in the spends account until Thursday so that should buy dd some birthday pressies and petrol for the week. Dd2 has gone into town today but I just gave her £5 and her dad can give her the rest;) she needs to buy her friend a bday pressie...about time he realised how teens are endless money pits:D
Washing machine is finished...off to put that out.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
There goes another weekend:(
Had a nice quiet one, did not do much. Dd2 and I went to Sainbugs today to use my £3 off voucher...spent £40 which was more than I planned but that'll be all til the weekend apart from a couple of bits of fruit this week.
Otherwise all I've spent is weekend is for dd1s birthday - next week now, exciitng:) I ordered her perfume (half price and then with 10% off so £18), sunglasses and a top she wanted. The Marc Jacobs bargain order got cancelled by Debenh@ms the meanies, shame, that was the best buy.i did order dd2 6 nails inc varnishes for £22 instead, normally they're £11 each so that's a gd pressie.
Need to do a meal plan for this week...I have a vague idea in my head but should get it written down so I don't forget;)I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Tonight we had...pork steaks with roast pots, veg and hm yorkies:)
Mon - meatballs with pasta, hm tom&pepper sauce
Tue - chicken&bacon pasta bake
Wed - chicken legs with salad, potato waffles
Thurs - jacket pots, breaded chicken
Fri - chippy maybe;)
It's a bit chicken heavy this week...makes up for a minced beef heavy last week:D On fri, dd2 and I are going to town after ive finished work to get dd1s birthday bits, so will probably grab chippy dinner on the way back, save me cooking when we get in at half 6ish.I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Oh I think my meals are soooo dull, same week in week out it feels - the fussy teens don't seem to agree on much so it's either make different things for people each night or stick to the same meals that we all like:D
Bank holiday weekend has arrived for me, finished work for the week...phew:beer:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Hi Pixie,
I hope you are well and that your DD had a great birthday.
I don't find your meal plans boring... I want to come to yours for tea
