  • Ok, let's try a list...that might get me going:rotfl:

    To-do:
    • Hang up washing to dry on airer
    • Put dry washing away
    • Dust/Hoover lounge
    • Hoover through upstairs
    • Clean bathroom
    • Make up dd1's bed
    • Write meal plan
    • Shopping list
    • Go shopping? (Can't really face it, but we need food and I have a kettle to pick up from T's too)

Maybe I should get cracking then:D

  • Okkkkk, what have I got done today?
I hung up the 2nd load of washing on the airers, took some dry stuff upstairs, sorted it out and put that away. I had a quick tidy of dd1s bedroom and made up her bed with clean bedding. I have cleaned the bathroom and tidied it up. I've just written the meal plan and shopping list. I did do a quick online order this morning to come on Monday, but have just cancelled it as I really want it tomorrow and have no reason why I can't go and save myself the £5 delivery. Also dd1 likes to come and so the self scan as you shop thing:rotfl:

Ummmmm that's about it:o I also lay on the sofa and watched a film on sky+:) So that was a nice way to spend some time:rotfl:

Girls are staying with their dad until this evening - having dinner there first which is great as meant I didn't have to rush out and do the shopping so we could eat tonight;) I've found a pizza in the freezer that'll do for me. So not left the house today.

That makes today an NSD, yayyy:beer: Last night on Am@zon I ordered some probiotics in the hope that they'll help my funny tum, £10, but if they work it'll be worth every penny.

I've never done a food shop online! A1di don't do that anyway but I quite like going food shopping. Such is my rock n roll lifestyle :rotfl:

Never?! Sometimes it's just so handy, but usually I must admit I do quite like a trip there:rotfl: Dd1 seems to like coming out with me right now, so I make the most of it...even if we do just go to Ts;) You'd think at 15 that using the beepy scanning thing would be far too uncool for her but oh nooooo:rotfl:

  • Evening:D
I overslept today...woke up at 10.40:eek: I had set my alarm for around 8 but must have switched it off:o I did leap out of bed then, into the shower and woke up dd1 as we were meant to be going food shopping. We got out around 12, armed with my list and dd with the scanner in T's.

Food came to £67... Though on top of that I bought slippers for £6 and a bargain - boots for £10. They were marked at £22 but I had seen them online at £10 so as we had our scanner with us we could check the price:T Nice lace up boots with a heel...rather pleased. I also bought some alcohol which I'll not use the grocery account for, it can come out of spending account.

I'm going to go to town so dd2 can spend some of her money, she wants a DVD and wii game. I'll return the jeans I bought the other day, I don't love them enough;)

Ex owes me £15 so have asked him to leave it at his mums as we need to stop on the way and pick up some bits the girls left behind. Fingers crossed he's left it...though I will be amazed if he actually does:o

  • Change of plan for today - littlie daughter isn't very well and is on the sofa under a row asleep:o It is foul outside thou so I'm not bothered about staying in, but I'd rather she was well!

I'm picking up dd1s friend later and dropping them at another friends house, friends dad is very kindly picking them up in the early hours:)

I was going to buy dd2 and I a Chinese but she doesn't even feel like drinking her favourite cups of tea or even water so I can't imagine she will fancy sweet and sour chicken balls;) So, that'll save me about £15. Quietest New Year's Eve in a while.

I should get my new notebook going...get the direct debits and money in/put listed. I haven't done that in ages, icons feel I really have it 100% under control...I think the fact I have money coming in weekly (tax credits), fortnightly (housing Ben) and monthly (wages), means I always have a bit available...just need to be more focused:D

    Heyyyy:wave:
Dd is fast asleep now, hoping that'll help her.

A lovely New Years walk sounds perfect - blow away the cobwebs and you'll be raring to go:D I'm doing us a roast tomorrow night and we are going to go to the cinema sometime this week.

Lots of happiness for 2013 to you:A

Ah Pixie sorry to hear your daughter isn't well, must be something in the air as my eldest complaining he is feeling awful too. Will be a quiet one here as well - maybe a DVD and board game will be about it.

Hope your evening goes out. Happy New Year to you & I hope it's a good one for you and your girls :)

Hi Coco, Happy New Year to you and your family too:D

I think we were lucky to avoid any bugs before Christmas - in the school I work in sooo many children were off with sickness:( I'm often one who picks up most things so I was impressed I missed it! Lots of my friends on FB, loads of families have had bugs over the last week or so, not nice:(

I'm quite happy in the warm, pleasing myself and not getting too trollied, which is what usually happens when I spend New Years at my sisters:rotfl: A fresh faced me will be greeting 2013 tomorrow:)

Perfect afternoon - in the warm, watching my all time favourite film, the Sound of Music:j
