You have done so well with your cashbacks and all coming at the right time to pay for your holiday
Is there any way you can arrange another meet up with the internet guy? You honestly shouldn't lack self-confidence - you look terrific, certainly not anywhere near your age - go on it can't hurt can it?
You are the only person who beat me on Song-Pop last week - the gloves are off this week
Yes I could arrange it again, I think he'd be ok with that - as long as I don't back out again;) I don't know why I'm being such a chicken, it's not that terrifying really:o I just have it in my head that I am not brave enough and I can't go through with it - what a wimp:o
Ooooh Song Pop...off to check if its my turn:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
NSD here today:T
Just about to take dd1 off to school to do some art for a bit, she's being very good putting in the time on it. Dd2 has been off school with a stinking cold but it seems to be easing now - she's just made a pile of scotch pancakes (yummers!) which we've enjoyed! Dd1 had leftover meatballs for dinner and dd2 and I are having a cooked breakup type dinner.
Was freezing so put the heating on low, only a few radiators open...in about half an hour it was very toasty so it's off now. The house has cavity wall insulation stuff so hoping its not going to need heating on all the time.
Ex's £300 went in today, he paid it in over the counter and he's coming round this week with uniform money and his half of dd1s phone contract. Well, he pays £15 and I pay£12....fair enough:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

Go for it....just look at it as dipping your toe in the water....you never know - you might get a taste for itIt's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0 -
Not quite an NSD here - I bought a £5 Amazon voucher and printed it out for my friends bday. I need to go and post that in a bit, along with a bracelet I bought in Debenhams sale a while ago for her.
I need to get some chicken kiev things for dd2 to have for dinner and throat sweets, think thats all we need. Co-0p have toilet rolls cheap so will get some of them too actually.
I just transferred £50 into savings, unspent tax credits:T New TC week tomorrowI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
£50 from the W-hill offer has been paid - that is the quickest payment ever:D Amazing, £50 for nothing!
My rotary washing line has just broken:o The pole just snapped off right at the bottom where it goes in the ground. It was here when we moved thou so I'm sure the landlord will replace it, I've already rung the agent:D So, my 2 loads of washing are on the airer outside and on the line end where I've propped it up.
Dd1 stayed home last night as she didn't feel great, ex took dd2 and because they were having a takeaway last night, he felt sorry for dd1 missing out so gave us £10 for food:D So we ordered Chinese and it cost me £4...a lovely treat:)
I'm taking dd into town soon to meet her dad and dd2 as he's taking them for lunch, just kfc. I need to get my mum and nieces birthday presses for next weekend. I have a £25 M&S voucher from going to sky for my broadband so m going to use that and get a nice bracelet as its mums 65th. Just going to get niece a voucher as that's what she wants.
Shopping was delivered this morning...was feeling lazy:) Also, if I do 2 online ordered in the next few weeks I then get £20 off my next shop. So I think it's worth it. Also saves me so much time not trekking there.
And....I think I'm going out tonight with Internet guy, at last:o I'm such a chicken, I've kept saying no, but I realise I can't do that forever. I keep telling myself I'm excited (not terrified) so maybe ill believe that eventually:pI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I'm going to finish with this diary, obviously no ones reading apart from the lovely poles who I shall stick with on her diary:)I really need to sort out a new signature!0
