Just a doubt...is the knife free or is it the personalization on the knife free and that we will still have to pay for the cost of the knife??0

Its the knife aswell, also t&c's say that photo id must be presented showing age and address to prove that you are over 18.

Thanks OP!
Do you get a confirmation email from them, or do you just turn up at the store?0 -
Thanks Hermanni, just been to the store. They have been busy this morning so will post mine out to me. Great freebie no cost at all. not even for postage. Had the choice to return next few days to collect it. choice of yellow, red, blue or black . The design is plain etched or choice of chalk ie white to outline design. Didnot check my id ( must look ancient!)Approx 15 mins in store queuing to give details of email, address phone number. about 25 people in queue. only 1 grumpy man at him not having it there and then but T&C do state may have to wait.0

I think I'm correct in thinking the knife has to be collected either today or 13th August.
So no good to me. But great offer thanks for posting.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
My husband went to the store at lunchtime. He booked a time to go back and pick up his knife on 13th August, and also was able to book a time for me go in and order mine. Not quite sure how that works but I'll go with it.
Apparently they're etching 40 a day and when you go to the shop to order you make a time to go and collect it.
And if you miss your collection timeslot, then too bad for you.
Seems a bit of a funny promotion to me but, hey, free Swiss army knives!0 -
Anyone know how much these cost to buy?
I might be tempted as unable to go fetch one on the correct date.
Would make a good pressie for DH.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
I've ordered one. Do you need to go to the shop today then go back on 13th? I guess I could walk down there after work. I finish at 6 but their site doesn't have the opening times.
The confirmation e-mail just says this:
You have now ordered your personalised Swiss Army Knife, remember to collect it from the Victorinox flagship store (95 - 96 New Bond Street, London W1S 1DB), on 24 July or 13 August.
Hmm, confusing.Public appearances now involve clothing. Sorry, it's part of my bail conditions.0 -
I ordered mine yesterday and when to the shop, if you read the T&C's on the website (which the guy told me they have now closed down due to a much higher response than expected) you have to go on either the 24 July or 13 August to confirm your order before 6pm. If you go during the day and they have a time slot available you can get it etched then and there, but if you turn up at the end of the day like I did they will take your details to find your order and then send it to you within two weeks. Great promotion for anyone who managed to access it before they closed down the site.
I had a look online and some websites are selling Victorinox pen knifes for around £35 so I'm happy with my free one,
Thanks OP0
