The BBC one is showing we will be £300 a year better off (TC and CB). However, it doesnt show council tax or water rates, and i know my water rates this year have gone up by about £120 a year (damm you South West Water!!!) and council tax by about £40 a year, so that knocks a big chunk off, and i dread to think what the gas and electric will be!!!!0

Between us me and the bf will be £124 better off apparently but then we almost never drink, don't smoke, can't afford to fly anywhere (or rather spend the money on other things!) and I have a little 1.1 engined car which I plan to use even less from September when I start a new job.
Doubt we'll actually notice that £124 saving unfortunately.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member #398 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

Mine says £390 a year better off, be nice if I actually see it. In fact, I am going to be a right nerd now, I am going to add another column to my spreadsheet and tot up what I actually get from tax credits and child benefit, then deduct council tax, road fund, petrol, booze etc increases. Lets see how much I actually end up with in my pocket.. £390 I doubt it, Gordon has fixed the figures because he wants my vote...:A
