Advice on extortionate baliffs

This morning I woke up and I found a bailiff note from Chandliers Limited demanding £258.77.
The original story was I owned £458.77 but I made an arrangement with the bailiffs to pay £55 a month. I have been regularly paying since January before the 1st of every month. But due to extenuating circumstances I missed one payment for May. I contacted then and told them I could not pay for that month but I will pay May and June's installment together ,in June, which I duly did on the 26th of June (£110), with a remaining balance £128.77 to pay.
As far as I was concerned I was up to date on my latest payments but was surprised to learn that they were demanding full payment with an incurred cost of £130 added (£258) when I only had two payments left.
The Bailiff said if I had a problem making a payment I could contact them which I did. They were fully aware I would promptly pay May and June's installment when I did. After speaking to the enforcement officer, it is clear that they are arbitrarily adding costs and demanding that I will pay immediately or they will come and remove my things.
Is there anything I can (external organisations?) do to get them to go back to the original agreement of £128.77 to pay left. I would be grateful for any help.
**P.S I originally posted the story in consumers rights but someone said it would be better here.

Thanks for the reply. I will send this to the bailiffs but why do I need to send this to the council. I have already settled my court case with them.
Bailiffs so far have not gained right of entry.0 -

it gets sent to the council because its still the councils debt the bailiffs are contractors this makes the council fully responsible for all bailiff actions including there fees
if it went to court the council would be co defendants
with no levy on goods your fees are £42.50 in total
The council tax(administration and enforcement )regulations 1992 (amended)
regulation 45(b) schedule 5 charges connected with distress
