Muslin cloths

As much as I love Liz Earle's cleanse and polish I can't help but find the muslin cloths a faff, I rinse them out after use and put them on the bathroom radiator to air dry but I can't help thinking they look mangy hanging around and do they breed germs? To use them they are quick and easy, its all the rinsing them out and getting them to dry which is a faff, cleansing wipes are easier and more hygenic as you just throw them away but they don't have the same affect I must admit. Anyone else find this?

Since hot cloth cleansing, I can't go back to face wipes, my face just doesn't feel clean after using them! I know what you mean about the cloths, they can be a faff. I actually use a mix of muslin cloths and normal flannels, then just chuck them in the washing basket after each use (I wouldn't want to reuse them each time). I probably have about 15 or so built up over the past couple of years, so have a steady supply of clean ones.
I do think the faff is worth it though!0 -
I tend to do the same as coffeebeen accept I use a clean muslin/flannel for the morning and when I cleanse before bed and then put it in the wash. I just leave the cloth/flannel on the side of the basin.Did owe £9,951.96

I use flannels too. I use a clean one in the morning, rinse it out and hang it over the bath taps, then use it again at night. After that it will have make up on it and I chuck it in the wash. I keep a big stack of them on the side if the bath. (Ikea ones mostly)0
