Soo those of you who read my ranting on Saturday....we received a letter from the council basically demanding nearly £500 and stating this was going to be taken out of my boyfriends pay directly. Went to the councils offices this morning and after waiting 40minutes (!!), someone finally came and spoke to us and said a percentage of my boyfriends wage will be deducted every month until this "debt" is paid off......means paying roughly £200 a month towards council tax. Madness!
Had a missed call on the home phone from the guy I spoke to about a 2nd job last week, have tried contacting him so hopefully I'll hear something back.
Also inquired about a debt management plan over the weekend, waiting on the paperwork for that.
Hope everyone's weekend was good
