Hi all,

I'm looking for someone to come to my house twice a day to let the cat in & out / feed her etc while I'm on holiday for a week. I haven't been able to find anything through searching the net so was wondering if anyone here knows companies who do this, or even better, has personal recommendations? I'm in East Belfast.

Thanks :)

Speak to smokiewater on here, I know his daughter was thinking of doing this for dogs and had set up a website, not sure about cats.

Why not put the cat into a cattery? They're reasonably priced and you're safe in the knowledge the cat is being looked after 24/7.

    Hi,

I use https://www.fieldnfamilypets.co.uk in Lisburn, walk's my dogs, feeds them and feeds the cat. Very reliable and flexible, and updates via text on how they're doing when you're away :)
  • If you were interested in a cattery we use Oakland Farm near Hillmount Nursery for our three. We shopped about a lot and they were one of the cheapest and are great. Very thorough and I know our cats get looked after really well there. :)
  • Check out Annadale pet services website. I haven't used them yet so can't recommend them as such but I have my rabbit booked in for a summer holiday and the lady who runs it seems lovely.

They do home visits so probably would suit you needs.

    Another vote for Oakland Farm.

My mother has used them for 4 cats now and they always come back home happy cats!

We live in East Belfast and have a cat. My daughter would take care of your cat if you do not live too far from us.

Sorry to hijack this, but any recommendations for a cattery?

Normally use Braemar on the Lisburn Road, but they are booked out for the second week in July. Wife looked at one on the Antrim Road today, but wasn't overly impressed. She was happy with the vet running it, but felt the premises left a little to be desired. This cat has to get the best, so I don't want to have to listen to her misgivings when I'm lying beside the pool bar!

I'd be interested to know of anyone who has used and can comment on a decent one reasonably close to Dunmurry. I'm driving, so reasonably close means less than 30 minutes to travel to it.

    TIA.
  • Just thought I'd come back to let you know I used Claire @ The Pet Connection http://www.thepetconnectionni.com/ as recommended by a user on here, and she was really great. Lovely girl and my cat was well cared for :)

    D xx
