for anyone who read my nervous break down threat (sorry about it guys) or anyone who didnt, I had a reply from the DCA this afternoon.
Man 1 who normally deals with my account asked Man 2 to email me some details I asked for. Man 2 said balance had gone UP £100 to £850 and was having 30% added on each month.
I complained asked why etc.
Man 1 emailed me back today VERY apologetic, gave me all the correct detail and offered me £200 off the balance on 745 to make up for the stress caused ( as I am poorly at the moment )
Not all DCA staff are rude or horrid and an email of commendation will be sent to his manager tomorrow (he gave me it incase I wasnt happy with his response) Its a weight off my shoulders and bank balance

Must say since doing my personal DMP I have one contact at each DCA and they are fantastic!

I agree, we always seem quick to write a letter of complaint but very few people write a letter saying the opposite...DEBT FREE AND PROUD'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt'0

Not bad... Still not going for a DMP. I'm just trundling along until payday to see what happens. Next month is when I'm really going to have to work out what to do! Have got plans in place and another account being set up though so will wait and see how much I have left once everything is taken out!0
