Advice re T&C's

Can anyone advise me what this means? It sounds like an early payment penalty but it is the first time I had known anything about it.

In the key information, it says:

Early settlement of this agreement - If you choose to settle this agreement early on the dates below the amount you will pay, per £1,000 borrowed will be:
When a quarter of the term has elapsed £786.31, when half of the term has elapsed £543.43, when three quarters of the term has elapsed £281.76.

In calculating these amounts, no account has been taken of any variation which might occur under this agreement and amounts shown are accordingly only illustrative.
