Sent letters to my creditors

Requesting that as a gesture of goodwill, they remove the "default" markers on my accounts due to a) the age of the accounts, b) the date I defaulted was more than 4 years ago and c) up until the point I had defaulted (explained why I defaulted) I had been a good reliable customer never missing a payment. I had 3 accounts with HFC Bank and these have kindly agreed to remove the 3 accounts + info from credit file due to me paying all 3 off in full - especially as I could have just left them as they only had a year and a half left on them.
I say it's a result. Now if only I could get the other 3 defaults removed. We will wait and see!!
