Thanks all, going in the right direction. I have a long way to go but every day I feel better. Started applying for jobs and will contact the job centre when I put my notice into work. Not much else happening but going out tomorrow for the first time in two weeks (except doc visits) which will be nice.
Have a good week/weekend all

May be best not to put notice in, but to wait for them to take any action they choose.

Beanie, I am unsure what you mean? My doctor will not give me another note and thus I would have to return to work in 3 weeks. If I wait and don't inform work and then not turn up for work I will get the sack. That on my employment record will be devastating. The only way is to hand my notice in and hope I am able to claim JSA with assistance from the doctor.
I may contact the job centre this week and ask their advice but right now I am stuck and going back terrifys me.

I think that it may be best to be sacked as then it may be easier to claim JSA. But I am no expert .Sparkles may well now more.
I am not suggesting for one minute that you go back to work.

So sorry to hear about your problems.
As a general rule, being sacked is almost certain to affect JSA. Handing in your notice on medical advice should put you in a much stronger position (though you'll probably still have to fight your corner).
Will PM you later (I'm having to limit my laptop time) but wanted to say this quickly.
Hope you have a nice time today.
love,

GF, my card (if recieved) must have crossed over your latest email. I will be sending you one (email) shortly.
Ok so after going to the job centre they told me to phone the claims line Phoned them and after a long wait I found out if I get the sack I would get JSA. That said I don't feel I should have that on my record, it doesn't look good if you have had three jobs, one you got made redundant with and one you got the sack with
However if I hand in my notice I maybe sanctioned depending on the 'desion maker' in the chosen job centre. Sanctions can be anything up to 6 months. Mum has said she is more than happy to support me but I am not happy with that... Notice needs to go in w/c 21st.

Dear Pap I am sorry to hear that you have been having such a horrible time. I hope you manage to get out of that work situation and into one you can enjoy. Good health is the only thing that enables anyone to plod on so do bear that in mind. I am sending every positive thought and wish there was more I could do, is there anything that would help?0
