Beanie, it didn't come up... But I am hoping to send a message this week sometime. For people FB status I think its a go'er :j
Spent all of the £30 but the haul was great! In no specific order.... Flower paste, 2* flour, pre-made butter cream (opps), 2* ready to roll icing, 2* icing sugar, pink paste food colouring, maths text book, stove, water carrier, picnic blanket, cutley, orange tissue paper (for halloween), goggle eyes (for OCC 2014), a whole heap of paper, 2* drinks at meal, drink at college, gravel for fish tank, new bucket for fish and a dowel to make a wind break for stove :T Not too bad!
I have resurected an old email address to sign up to surveys and to enter some comps (already with quidco opinions). I was hoping to do bingo sites but debt repayments come first so trying to earn more money/cashback with no outlay.
Camping looks like its on as long as I can pay the min to my CC this week and £50 this and next off Debt 2. I have been lent a tent so all I really need now are some cheap fleace blankets and a sleeping bag <£10. The only problem is the site I have fallen in love with will be £50 for 5 nights so over budget, I am hoping to squeze it in somehow. If not there are some for £8 a night but it would mean petrol to travel to the places I can walk to from this site. Need to decide!
Hope you all have a great week :beer:0 -

If things come together I will be off in a few weeks! I loved camping when I was younger (only once with the family though) and its been my dream to go solo. It may just be happening :T It was a two tiered handmade red velvet cake (except buttercream), covered in purple icing then white icing so I could have recess butterflys. Covered in hand made and hand painted flowers. It sounded great but the results wern't good, I left it in the fridge too longMy sister liked it but still, I want to make some mini versions sometime to see if they come out better.

They would make beautiful cup cakes with a single butterfly on each. These things always take a bit of practice. Are you sorted out for your shoe boxes?0

Yes they would or single two portion victoria sponges. Yes this years are all done so I am stoping all purchases until next year unless the saving is too great. The eyes are because I want to make some finger puppets for next year. The only thing left for this year is to cover them and attach the £3 shipping fee to each and then drop them off.
I am unintentionally home today, I have had to call in sick to work because I have been up most of the night. I know what has caused it but sadly I can't change that so ho hum. Will lose about £40 from next Friday's wage so I am going to research cheaper campsites.
Onto better news, £50 from Debt 2 and £68.65 from Debt 1. Thats me skint! (Except pertol/rent/bills) I do need to purchase a meal with work tomorrow but I am planning to 'borrow' that from my bill saves and put it back next week. Nearly Debt 2 clearthat will have taken 6 weeks to repay, would have liked it to be much less but as I have been working to £50 weeks really thats quite good.
Going to sign up to more survey sites today and make use of my time home.
Have a good Friday all0 -
Well done PAP - that's brilliant progress on the debt bashing. I wish we lived closer, Mr F has lots of camping stuff we'd be happy to loan you. Have you thought about contacting any orchards in your camping area? The fruit picking is still going on and the owners might be happy to let you camp in exchange for a day's work. They usually have shower and toilet blocks.
So pleased the car is working out - one less thing to worry about.
Tell me again about your shoe boxes. Is it something you like to do yourself or do you take contributions?

Aww thanks Fortune but I have all the gear I need except a sleeping bag and some cheap fleace blankets. Its more the pitch price however some research had led me to discover that they are all of simaler price rance (£50 for 4 nights) so that doesn't help my quest. I wanted to go to Glastonbury as I wanted to walk to and around the Tor, the site I had in mind was basically at the foot. I shall see nearer the time.
Well this is the link, it is a christian based appeal so if thats not for you I understand. I generally buy stuff as and when throughout the year and then I have completed the boxes before drop off. I think it averages £10 per box but the shipping is the real cost, and its gone up this yearI get empty shoe boxes from people and other random things (mcdonalds toys, pens/pencils and toothpaste) but generally I do them on my own. I try and do 6 (one each age group) but this year I seem to have six mid range groups. Next year/once debt free I want to double that :shhh:
Its my contribution to charity outside the UK. I used to give monthly to three charitys but once my debt took priority they stopped. I still give adhock (ie in tins/with sponsor money/randomly) but this is my contribution outside the Uk. Also it feels nicer as the children are actually getting the gifts whereas money could go 'any where'.0 -

:embarasse Thanks Beanie
I am going on holiday :j Debt 2 will be cleared on the 27th so I can use the next two weeks to pay for my holiday and purchase a sleeping bag/fleaces and food. So happy! I have borrowed a tent but I will need to buy some more tent pegs but they are cheap. I am hoping to book into my preferred site which I will do on Friday.
So far I have signed up to three survey sites... And these are keeping me busy! But I will gradually sign up to more. Once Debt 2 is repayed I will be looking into bingo/free quidco offers. One of the survey sites pay in amazon vouchers so I will use those for christmas gifts
Matha was hard tonight, I am going to practice, practice, practice for next week. I am hoping I will get better. There is half term the week after my holiday so I will be spending that week doing extra stuff too. I will get there :T
Hope everyone is having a good week, sorry my posts are few and far between but I don't have much to postI am like a little ship bobbing along :rotfl:
