Hey all...
So the show was ok... The travel was a disaster! The bus didn't turn up so after a 20min phone call we managed to get on a later bus. Got there, got the tube to the show. Cupcakes, cake pops, cupcake decorations, cupcakes, cake pops. cupcake decoration etc etc. It was to much cake and not enough bake and those baking stalls were pre made mixes :rotfl: It was also FAR too busy. I have been to craft shows that have been bigger than this and I didn't feel half as crowded. This was poorly organised when there was unfilled floorspace that could have been used. Anyways we had a good time, managed to watch some demo's mainly Rosemary Shreiger and spent a little. We then tubed back to Victoria where it took over 20min and 3 queues to get my oyster deposit back. Then it to an extra hour to get out of London due to road closures etc.
I had fun, but would have lothed paying full price. I am hoping to go to Cake International in April as that's supposed to be much better.
So spends...
£19.50 in the show - Mag (£2), Mag with silicone mold I have wanted forever (£8), 1kg of sugar with free tin I need to claim online (£2), two cakes bigger than my hand (£3), Sourdough bread from a French man(£2.50) and fudge for Mum (£2).
£4.20 underground travel (Mum paid her own)
£2.50 in sainsburrys (sweets and drinks)
£12.00 lunch, we took a packed lunch but wanted something before the bus home, this was basically the deposit for the oysters
£4.60 costasorry but had to be done
£1.75 thankyou car
£0.60 toilet fees
£42.80 the remainder floated in my purse and today I purchased:
99p folder for college
£3.60 stamps
£1.05 2* cans
=£48.44 all the pennys went into my pot.
I also payed another £50 from my debt and filled up the car £40.00. The final calculation on the miles is 293 miles per £40 or 44.4mpg. Which isn't bad its certainly more than my micra, I can still do 7 days plus before refilling.
So not too bad of a weekend. Off to college tonight and then I am house sitting tonight, maybe tomorrow, certainly thursday and maybe friday. Still can get online thoughPlus I get use of Netflicks and a huge telly :T
Have a great week all0 -

House sitting went well... Unsure if I am going back tonight, depends. However it showed me what I was missing *sigh*.
Payday and a sad looking income! This was due to the fact it was the week after coming back from holiday and I wasn't supposed to have a car so got <30 hours work.
£192.61 income
£40.00 rent
£40.00 petrol
£40.00 bill
£2.50 parking
£8.00 gromit show entry
£3.00 keyring for mum
= £52.61 + £6.90 in purse. Going to pay the £50 off of Debt 2 and the purse money will be my spends for the week, thank heavens I don't need anything.
Min repayment to Debt 1 is £50 this month, needs paying the 4th so need to save £25 next and that Friday for that. Really annoyed I am not able to make the £100 repayments each week I wanted too. I think next Friday I will have a better wage as I have worked no-stop all week.
Gromit show was fab! I am really glad they didn't have the gromit I wanted in figure form though because I would never have been able to afford it
Working all weekend, hope you all have good ones :beer:0 -
How long were you queuing for? I'd love to go and see it but can really only go on the weekend and certainly don't fancy queuing then. I think I just read the queues at the moment are about 3 hours!0

I parked in the West End car park and joined the queue at 7.40am. It was just to the end of the habitat store - you enter through the side entrance. They opened at 8.55am and we were out by 9.40am and were the first wave in. They open at 8am tomorrow so if you were to go then I would aim to start queuing at 7am. It only get silly when everyone starts waking up/in the afternoons, it was the same yesterday. Yes watch facebook for updates0 -
NSD's since last post :T
So I have decided if I can pay off my Debt 2 and my min payment on Debt 1 Before the 18th Oct I am going to have a few nights away when I am on holiday. It will cost about £50 plus fuel - but debt comes first so it depends on my payments/over payments
Have a great week all :beer:0 -
Pap~ A few nights would be fab for you.
Why don't you say if you can get debt under a £1000 you will do that?
Edinburgh meet @ beginning of Dec.

It maybe an extra night because the gig I booked way back has been cancled... Only the artist hasn't facebooked/tweeted about it, all very strange
No I want to pay off Debt 2, to me its the most important and thus it needs to go. Works out as £66 a week plus £50 min payment to the CC. It can be done!
Ahh thats to far really Beanie and will cost too much, I am aiming to come see you next year. This is camping about an hour away, if I can borrow a tent it will cost the pitch plus food plus maybe a little camping stove. If not I will need to buy a cheap tent too. I dreamt about this before I could even drive.
Not much happening, petrol was only £30 but I used the other £10 to put credit on my phone (or at least I will tom). Work is bad, really bad and I am unsure what I have done but hey ho until Sept its a means to an end. I just wish it was next Sunday already!
Maths was hard tonight, really hard! Next week is fractions
Off to bed :j0 -
Sorry to hear that work is a pain, keep your eyes open something else may come up, as you say it is just a way of getting where you need to go. Fractions, well at least you know you are studying maths that you will use!0

Hang on in there PAP. As you say, it's only until September. Well done with the Maths.
