  • Thanks all... All is well and I can go! Now whats the cherry :rotfl: Work were fine and I am glad because you need to have 100% attendence otherwise you arn't entered for the exam.

Buffy, thanks! My aim is to get a few study books and get my head down to really understand it, this si my only hope. I have been using an NHS maths website that toots sent me and I have also been using bitsize some of it is going in but its the complicated stuff. I am looking forward to this class as it will all be adults :D Exciting stuff!
  • Well done Pap, maybe the angels were listening after all, i asked them to help ya! but at the end of the day YOU made it happen! onwards and upwards now xxx
  • Thanks Poppy, this timetwo weeks ago my world had shattered but today its on the up!

:j Pap has wheels :j There are a few teething problems but easy to get around need to sort out how to work the radio though as at the moment I have none :( Did overspend on petrol due to filling the tank right up but thats not too much bother.

    Spends -
    £50.00 petrol
    £2.98 charity shop 2 frames
    £1.88 super drug cough mixture
£2.00 pile of off cut fabrics (to make puppets for shoe boxes)
£10.00 lunch out for two of us

Now I totally forgot that I had arranged to go to the cinema with my friend (one and only real life :rotfl:) tomorrow, we haven't seen each other for 2+ months. So that will be £10 plus I have £5 in my purse for tea. Also I need phone credit :o

All in that leaves me poor until next Friday but I don't need anything. I do however have £100 set asside to pay off Debt 2 next week :T

    Have a great weekend all!

In a way its good you are paid weekly as you only have to go week before you are paid again.
    Enjoy the pictures.

I know Beanie, not too bad eh... However I say I am 'poor' but in reality I have money in my account for an emergency but its all alloctaed so will not be touched otherwise.

Yep looking forward to the catch up really but the cinema is always nice, except the price

Started a new thread to try and sort out two of the main teething problems. Fingers crossed :D
  • Film was fabby :j Unsure if it was worth the inflated price but was great to catch up with my friend. We have already decided on the next so thats next month :o Need to squeeze that into my budget. Thankfully it should be mid week.

    So spends yesterday:
£10.20 to get in the cinema, I booked online so it was a tad more expensive.
    £3.19 lunch/tea
£2.99 square paper pad for college
    £1.99 slushie drink

= £18.37, the paper pad I payed by card

    So todays spends are:
    £10.00 phone top up
    £14.00 CC debt :T

    = £24.00

That will be from my bills save next week but I need the mobile credit for work (it will be tripled) and I would really like to get under the next 100 barrier before the next statement. I was supposed to put all my energy into debt #2 but I have already put asside £100 for that and will hopefully be adding another £50 on Friday :D

This coming week I need nothing... Unless college require me to buy a calculator etc, fingers crossed they don't :)

Have a great Sunday all... Back working tomorrow
  • So pleased things have started looking up for you. Hope you have a great week.

  • Thanks all, things are going well... Not counting my chickens yet though :rotfl:

Hmmm make that tonight, but it makes up for the lost hours Tuesday :T The radio in the car seems like it either needs repairing or replacing. So in the mean time I have dug out my headphones for my phone to enable me to use the FM radio on my phone, see brick phones are good for some things :rotfl: Will just need to watch my battery usage. That gives me some time to save for a replacement and get it fitted as you need some tool that costs £10 to remove the old one

    Speak soon :D
