  • Booked London tickets... £40.50 :o
    Booked Bath tickets... £16.00

Getting back from Mum next Friday £28.25 :T So that's nearly all my rent for next week paid, need to add £11.75. I have decided we are visiting the Abbey (donation) and maybe to Sally Lunn's for lunch, otherwise its just a mooch around the shops etc - although no spends! Will find lunch using next weeks pay (depending on what I recieve) it could be a packed lunch!

That leaves £140 from my pay this week, I am going to pay £100.09 to my CC, £45 is the min payment but I am stuck in the trap of not paying enough and then going over my limit :o This leaves me £13 until I am under the next £100 bracket :T So £40 in which to purchase all of the items mentioned above :rotfl: I won't put anything away for bills this week but will put asside £35 for the next two Fridays.

No extra's for my room and sadly all my pictures will remain unframed. Really thinking about taking all the measurements of the frames I need and getting them at carboots/charity shops/ebay and making a 'mash up' on the wall. I wanted all my pictures in the same frames but the cost will be massive! Something to think about :o

Either way not doing too badly :j Holiday starts now too!

PS going to put debt and saves into my sig

Hope you have a great holiday Pap, fingers crossed for the weather. Can you sew? Loads of bike pannier patterns about for people who are crafty. Sounds like you are getting everything together. Good luck.

Also great. inexpensive bras in TK Maxx
  • Happy holidays PAP - I hope you have a fab time.

Getting the frames from a car boot sale sounds like a great idea. You could always get a tester pot of paint and have different frames but all the same colour? I found some examples here http://www.bhg.com/blogs/centsational-style/2012/07/26/displaying-art-eclectic-collections-gallery-walls/

    What do you think?

  • Beanie thanks :)

Toots I can sew but rely on hand sewing. The problem is I still need the frame for them to sit on :o I think its made worse because I ride on a childs frame... I will come up with something  Thanks also for metioning tkmaxx I will have a look in there :D

Fortune, that's exactly what I think I will achieve! I love the 7th pic but equally the third when they are painted the same colour. I have two pictures framed at the moment in these frames but as you go up in size and the amount I would need is huge prices. Off the top of my head I have 6 pieces that I need frames plus two cross stitch pieces. I think measuring and purchasing ad hoc is the way forward. Need to find a place to buy monts cheaply though because with those frames you get them included :o

10k sponsored walk done! Amazing night and even better because I did it with Mum :j

  • It was a walk Beanie for Marie Curie cancer care... It was originally going to be me and some family sponsors <£50. However Mum managed to get the evening off work so she came too and we have raised £300+ for the charity (mine was only £20 :o) :j

Have had a fantastic day! Started off at the car boot and I did well regards to the frames but Mum did even better. John Lewis lined curtains to fit patio doors, £3 I could not believe it! We also went to ikea, I moved my room around and it didn't fit, well it did if I didn't want to get in any drawers :o So purchased a small bookcase which has made a make shift desk and will sell my other desk on ebay. It was an unexpected purchase but my room looks so much bigger and I can now watch catch up in bed so I don't regret it!

Spends, from my £40 excludes 1p/2p/5p's that have gone into my bear -

£4.50 - donations and drinks last night at the walk
    £10.00 - billy bookcase
£2.40 - lunch out with mum
£6.00 - Hob brite (work), 2* sweets for shoe boxes, bike lights, photo frame and selotape (shoe boxes)
    0.69 - bottle of water
    0.75 - dog treats
    0.90 - lighter (mum)
    £2.00 car boot entry
    £1.00 coffee (mum)
    £3.50 - 5* frames (car boot)

    £8.10 remains

Nothing planned this week unless a friend want to meet so the £8 may go back into my bank and off the CC. I now only need 3 frames and a few mounts. I found the correct size and one I liked at ikea but they would have been all the same. I am unsure if I want to add those pictures to my mash up or not so unsure. Will still look out for frames in the charity shop in the coming weeks

Didn't manage to get a basket for the bike or a seat cover so those will have to wait for a few weeks, at least I have lights :rotfl: Bra's will also have to wait, I will look in tkmaxx on Friday but I usually get them from Avon so may just order from there.

A few things crossed off the list :D More jobs lined up for tomorrow!
  • It appears I am not aloud to drop my evenings at all. They are merely taking one call off me I will still have to ride for 20min through town to reach one call and then 20min back to reach the next. Both visits will earn me just over £3.75

So I guess I have been given no choice... Either get a car or find a new job?
