Happy Birthday Lou :bdaycake: - I hope you're having a lovely day.

You sound much more positive today Pap and those goals sound great.

    Emz xx
  • Work has agreed but I need to do two calls on an evening. It will net me an extra 7.5 hours a week (until I need to drop an evening for my GCSE) but it means I can't get a second job :o There is the option to work 6 out of 7 days so thats something...

Put my savings back into my account so I am going to purchase the megabus tickets in order to get to the Cake show next month and eveything else is going into my smart saver. I am usure if I should just put it all into my CC but that will certainly mean no car for at least a year. So at the moment savings account it is.

Tonight I am off to college to see if I can get a place on this GCSE course. Things are looking up...
  • Keep going PAP. You will get there in the end because you don't ever give up and that's the difference between success and failure. Make sure you find a way to get that GCSE and achieve your ultimate goal. It will all be worth it.

  • :A:Ahey Pap, i dont post very often but always read your diary and think i have mentioned MBing to you in the past. Just wanted to say i really hope things pick up for you in the future, i know it sounds daft but when i was really down i read an angel book, it was also related to thinking what you want in life and imagining that it has already happened and you are living that life, it worked for me, ok not in every aspect of my life but for most things, and now i try and thank my angels every single day ( even when im having a cra@@y one!) and no im not kooky, honestly! X You are the sort of person who deserves some good ( no not good, GREAT ) things to start happening in your life because you are always thinking of others and i will include you in my thoughts when i speak to the angels :) xx good luck Pap xxxxxx
  • Fortune, thanks far from giving up but fed up with problems/hurdles being put in my way!

Poppy, yes I did look ino MB before but will I just 'waste' money? Thanks for the advice re angels, something to think/read about I guess.

So the test went well, except 4 questions, will find out my results in 5-10 days. However according to the tutor there is a cost despite the website saying it is free :o So I may not be able to join it after all! Another hurdle of life :(

Yes because apparently its only for those 'deprived' or unemployed. BUT I am sure the government said they are free as long as you have never achived a grade C... Which this post would indicate. Conveniently the tutor didn't know the cost, but why post on your website free then? So I maybe teaching myself after all and hope I pass the access test next year.

  • No problem Beanie!
I am going to purchase the megabus tickets in order to get to the Cake show next month and eveything else is going into my smart saver.

Didn't order the tickets I totally forgot and sent it all to the savings account :o So that will be done tomorrow with my wage. I have cancelled the craft box so thats another reduced bill. I now only have to pay House Insurance, BT and Dog Insurance monthly. I am restarting my spending diary on here starting tomorrow as so far this week I have had NSD's and the £20 I have in my account will be used to pay for something I have pre-ordered, prior to this week.

Next week is holiday :T I have my charity walk and then nothing. However we may go to Bath on Wednesday which will cost the train fare plus lunch, there is a huge amount of free stuff/241 to do there so that will be great. I also have a huge list of stuff I want to complete and watch during my time off.

I am obviously going on a spending ban but there are a few things I need so the plan is carboot on sunday and £1 shop or find online for everything else. The main things are - lights for bike, some sort of gel seat cover for bike, a metal storage box I can fashion into a basket for bike (cheaper than panniers?) because wearing a packbag is hurting, sweets to complete 2013 shoeboxes and I really need some bra's (I have a black one, a white one with one wire and a 'over your head' job).

To debt bust/save I will be doing the bingo sites/cash back in the coming months. The max I will do is two per month and the max money used per month will be £30. Effectively that which I spend to get cashback will be going into saves anyway so I will not lose anything but gain £5-£20... I may win too :D

Still need to find another way to increase income :o

Hope evryone is well, take care
