No good, could have saved myself a journey if I had asked him questions before going to view... Ahh well.

Pap, sorry to hear this news, sending you all good wishes in the hope that your "thinking" brings a resolution. I wish your bosses would just find you clients in biking distance! I also hope you get to do the GCSE as longer term that will give you a good wage and help you move from such a precarious, and hard, working life. Thanks for the info on the boxes I am going to do some this year, great cause.0

Pants! Hope your luck changes soon PAP.

No further forward than yesterday
Did a garage trawl but there is nothing. To make matter worse the people I had informed in work hadn't passed the message on so they were hoping to give me work tomorrow night. So had to explain everything again!
Just sent off the documents and my tax for a refund. Hopefully I should recieve £30 back from that. Don't know what to do about my car insurance though? Do I keep paying? Am I allowed to even insure a car that no longer exists? If I cancel I bet I will be lumbered with a cancelation fee
Toots, my main person is within biking distance (for the morning) however the evening they are on a run that needs a car. So I could drop to just mornings but I don't think my employers will allow it. GCSE test (yes why!) is on Tuesday so fingers crossed I am accepted, I will have to do it without a tutor though (due to currect situation) but will search ebay for help yourself books I think. Please do, I am glad I inspirw people to make them. Yes they are a religious organisation but its still a great cause, if you don't want to use them look at link romania. I would like to do some LR too but at the moment I prefer these.
Off to work tonight, thank heavens for my Mum! Cost me £10 though0 -
Feeling really bad today
Spent £4 on bus fares to work Sat, which will net me an income BEFORE tax of 75p!
Spent £4.00 in hobbycraft today to finish my sisters birthday gift, but to quote her - 'Not expecting much for my birthday... Always the way... So was thinking if I treat myself then at least I will have a little something special' I get £10 for my birthday (from Mum) and by my own gift!
Said sister visits and they have sold one of their cars and will be picking their 'new' one up on Wednesday. She also has her own 12 plate disability car for a 'bad back'.
Painted over my tester squares as they just show yet another failure.
Sent email to work and told them they have to cover 3:35hrs next week.
Forgot to send a birthday card and now can't find the card
Oh and gave another £10 to Mum to drive me around next week.
I am sat here on a tipping point and I want life to stop giving me grief. I had plans and those were broken by not getting into college, I recovered from that (gradually) and made more plans but now I have been kicked back down. Are things ever going to change?0 -
Oh Pap.
I so feel for you.
You are such a lovely person & deserve so much more.
Yes things will change for you.
Unfortunatly I cant say how or when but they will.
Remember winter always turns into spring.
I will make no comment on your sister.

_party_ Happy Birthday Beanielou _party_
Many thanks Lou and Em. I didn't post that wanting any messages I was/am just fed up with life at the moment.
Anyways I have decided... I will not be purchasing a new car, I have canceled my breakdown cover and my insurance is suspended (I will not have to pay anything until I purchase a new car or cancel the policy resulting in a £50 charge). I will be going to work later/thursday explaining everything and basically asking to turn into a walker. I will change my holiday in Nov for time off in Oct when my user is on holiday herself. Obviously we are not going anywhere now anyway!
The min I could earn each week just accounting for my main user would be 19hrs - £123.50 before tax a week. I will cancel my craft box starting in October so my bills will reduce to £69.18 per month and £40 per week rent.
So working on a four week month...
£69.18 - bills
£160.00 rent
= £229.18
Income
£494.00 before tax, approx £400 after...
= £170.82 to service debt/save for car - £43 per week approx.
So in a round about way I will actually be better off and will have evenings free to search for a xmas temp retail job which I could bus too.
Obviously this all depends on work but I am thinking long term, what if I buy a car and in a month it breaks down? Or it's mot fails next year and I have saved nothing/very little. I will be in the same situation now but with no savings, it seems illogical to me. Not to mention the fact that I am working to keep a car on the road.
The only dissadvantage to this is I will have no income for myself and the list of things I need is growing starting with new work shoes, bras (I now have 2)... So that will rely on me getting a second job
My goals now are..
1) Get debt free!
2) Save for car... Maybe
3) Walk and ride!
4) Start GCSE and NVQ3.
5) Do 'something' FREE with Mum every fournight.
6) Smile everyday.
Be strong now, because things will get better. It might be stormy now, but it can't rain forever!
