Good luck for the MOT PAP, flipping cars eh!0
-
Thanks Fortune, its hard to balance out living/finances/future but I guess once you work at it for a while things will come good.
Sparks, lets hope. Last year it cost over £300 so I am hoping that it will be much less than last time. The only thing I am worried about is my wheels (prob the beerings) but that may come to nothing. I really want this car to last at least another 2 years so if it passes with little/no work I will be over the moon.
GCSE, no one has been called for an interview yet so I haven't missed anything.
Relaxing today before returning to work tomorrow.0 -
Hi Pap, glad you enjoyed France. I went to the Giant's Causeway in May it was genuinely AMAZING. It sounds like you are doing really well all round, like the sound of you doing good things for yourself. Best of luck with the painting. Are you going light and bright?0

Hey toots, I will visit the giants causeway someday, its just the natural phenomenon. Looking at places to stay/flight etc it isn't too bad price wise but I will leave it until next year to really look into it, the same with the Louve.
Yes Its between Dulux Timeless and Dulux 'light and space' morning light so both of white/cream. I am going to stick with the wallpaper I currently have up as I like it so much. I will be purchasing some more shelfs (cheap pine ones from b&q) and I will be purchasing some frames for ikea to put up some of my art wort that has been sat in a pile for ever :rotfl: With prep etc it may take me most of the week but thats ok. The paint is about £30 so I am hoping to spend less than £60.0 -
EXCHANGING PERSONAL DETAILS

No problem, I quite understand the rules. What I shall do is make up an additional 30 shoe boxes and distribute them to three different age groups. I am not yet certain which country we are collecting for this year, but I shall ensure they get there nice and early.

Hi Fermi :hello:
Hey Catie, thanks so much for visiting my diary. I did see your original post but knew the forum rules and had no idea how to reply. I am ever so happy that you are making extra boxes for this years appeal. Samaritans purse always need extra boxes and your 30 will make a huge impact! Just think of all those children you will prob give the only gift they will ever have too. Thanks for reading and dropping into my diary :grouphug:
Nothing much to share really, I am now waiting until Thursday for the MOT to take place. I checked the holiday site and the price is still the same. Still not booking until I can pay outright thoughToday is budget day, I am going to look at my budget until the end of the year. My aims are debt free and holiday but fingers crossed I can get my lappy in there too.
Have a great weekend all :T0 -
Have an interview for the GCSE :j I have had to ask to take it off of work but the college doesn't have any spaces when I am actually off work. so I will lose some pay but in the grand scheme of things I am ok with that.
Budget is fine looks like the 11/10/13 will be the day that I will be either debt free or nearly debt free and booked my holiday. The laptop will come after that so on course for 1/11/13 for that. So quite happy! The only 'problem' is thats counting on £220 income each week with the £100 remaining after my bills going to the debt. That obviously can change because I may not get that much and I still need to spend a small amount on myself but on paper thats my ideaThe only real expense not counted for in the next month or so is the £60 I want to spend on my room, maybe that can come from anything left over from my MOT before it goes to the CC? Undecided.
Life is looking good :T Much better than the last 3 days anyway...0 -
OOOOH exciting Pap. Good luck with your plots and plans!0
