You know my philosophy - loaves and lilies. So best wishes for a few of both.

Thanks Fortune, I think I was putting far to much pressure on myself. I was deciding on goals as if I were looking at me as an outsider. I was also looking at others and thinking in their 20's what were their goals. Obvousily that would never work and was impossible which didn't help in this past week.
I love your loaves and lilies philosopy, I must apply it.skint_spice wrote: »Glad to see you are sounding a bit more positive PAP, some folk say upsetting things but when you think about it I just wonder why they feel their opinion is so important? You are a lovely person with lots of good qualities and if they can't see that it's their loss.
Totally agree with the living more idea even wee things like a nice walk help me cheer up.
I don't even understand why I took on thier opinions, especially as that was the first and last time I will see them. I guess when you are in a bad place to start with you just agree and take on other's opinions. Looking back now I have no idea why I even engaged with them but thats life and a lesson I will learn from.Hope you had a happy Saturday & have a happy Sunday
Thanks Beanie, had a productive day today. Finally sorted my cupboard (that lives outside my room) that house's all my paperwork and clothes. Another two bags for charity sorted and a huge bag to shred. Out of interest how long should I keep my wage slips for? I still have those from my first ever job! I know you should always keep your p60's but what about the wage slips?
I have also had my hair cut and coloured (£5 cut and £5 hair dye) and it feels lush and so much lighter. The dye didn't take well on the ends as it still has henna on it so it will need re-doing but I love it. Totally different to the brown I thought I 'should' have as a hair colour. Both will need re-doing before France anyway.
Now I am off to bed as I am working tomorrow. Not looking forward to explaining to service users why I wasn't there0 -
It's not the service user's buisiness as to why you werent there.
You werent & thats it.End of.
Glad you like your hair
Why dont you keep first & last payslips from previous jobs?I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Hi Pap, really pleased that you haven't let the idiots grind you down, like the sound of your goals, it is important to live a little and see how things go. You will get there in the end. I hope you have a good time working in France, something to look forward to as well as your holiday etc.0

Beanie, thats true. It was actually quite easy, apparently I was seriously ill! Which didn't help as said person thought I was in hospital
Its much, much easier when they have dementia as when you are there you are thier world but if you as missing your replacement is just as good :rotfl: Hair needs redoing as its too dark, but I will wait till before France for that. I may do that re wage slips, however they are packed away now
Toots, thanks. I can't believe France it's just over 3 weeks!
Goals are going well - walked, smiled, sorted GCSE and have chossen my colour for my room. I spent this morning with Mum, had breakfast out and spent a couple of hours shopping. Didn't spend much only crayons for shoe boxes, sponges for my car and some handwash for my stitch.
The clothes I ordered all fit, however I will be returning a t-shirt. It fit well but I don't like it, its far too distressed and it looks untidyI am spending time with Mum on Monday as we are going to see a foriegn film so will also pop into a few shops to find some shorts or 3/4 lenth trousers.
Have a great weekend all, I am working which also involves a day trip so I will need to purchase a meal while thereAh well.

:rotfl: I have the same issue with 'distressed' clothing.
