I assumed that you went swimming near where you live, but after your last post, is it at the pool near me? Motorway was horrendous all day yesterday wasn't it - I don't go anywhere near it during holiday time, but it does make you realise how reliant we are on it ( especially when you're south of the river)!!!0

Hi Dangers, Yes its the pool near you, the one that is seasonal. Its much better value for money than the ones here. However I will prob have to use ones closer to home once the season ends. Yes it was bad, I feel for the persons involed as it was a very bad accident. It is shocking how much we rely on it or on any major road really. I dread to think how I would survive if we didn't have the Portway

Have to say I haven't been swimming there in about 17 years!
Yes, it was a horrible accident, especially when you read more information about it. I just don't know how anyone can turn the wrong way onto a m-way especially as that junction is quite a sharp one, unless of course they also went round the roundabout the wrong way.0 -
Dangers, I would say if you have a spare day then go. Ok its not as modern as council pool's but nothing beats swimming in the open air.
Yes we had that converstaion too, also more details have been realeased and its a strange one. I can't see how it was possible but if the lady wasn't of sound mind for whatever reason you can do anything and think its correct/right.
Spents £1.58 on skeins for my cross stitch yesterday and I also had to fill the car up again! All these extra miles taking Mum to work is really costing me. I am hopeful that this tank will last a week but I have to take brother to a meet tomorow, he is paying for my petrol but still!
Changed my signature as I will certainly make the £180 payed off :T I have decided to aim for £300 payed off within 50days. So between the 17th June and 5th Aug I want to have cleared £300. I do need to purchase some trousers for France between that time but otherwise no huge expenses.
Managed to win Legoland tickets at £10 each. Unsure if I should list the tickets I have here for the 28th on ebay? I would love to go again but at the moment there is no one to go withSo the only think left to book is dance for dementia tomorrow £8 each. The fuel costs to do/see everything will be £62 for the whole week which isn't bad. The only other money I need is £18 entry and bus fares/food. Mum gets paid while we are on holiday and will be giving me £41 which is half of everything we will be doing on holiday... But I will be using most of that for a meal in Newport before the concert
This week and next weeks excess that I usually throw at the CC will be kept for use while on holiday. Mostly for the petrol used but also for any spends I want to make.
Not looking too bad :T Have a great weekend all!

Well I now have a bike and it was free :T... But it needs a new seat and it will also need spray painting, the later not of importance. I also have a smaller frame which was also given free, that too needs a seat and spraying but it would suit me better than this one. So I am hoping my little brother will put all the gears/brakes etc over to that one for me and thus have a perfect frame. I will also need a helmet but for <£20 I can have this one on the road running and is much more modern than the old ones I was planning to bid on. It will also help with the swimming spends as I can go out on this instead
Will have to do all this after the holiday I think due to funds but I will be looking for cheap seats/paint as I don't want to over spend.
Exciting :j

Oh great news on the bike :j :j
Even better Beanie, I have reserved a new seat/saddle for 80p:T Yes 80p! It is in the colour I will be painting the bike and aside from the flowers I don't think its too bad. So need to collect that tomorrow. Going to have a look as see if we have primer/undercoat here but it looks like it will be much cheaper than £20 to get as I would like it.

Skinty, its this Saturday, thanks for thinking of me
So bike seat was out of stock. In the end I went to an indie shop as we needed a specific tool and got a seat and matching hand grips for £10. So lets just say I have gone over budget this week  But thinking about what I will get back from it I am not that bothered. Put it this way I now have 4 social outings in the next 3 weeksNever been a social person before but things seem to be changing
So budget is not being looked at until the 14th. Everything next week will be used for holiday, bearing in mind I need at least £60 petrol. Then the 14th I will put asside my bills money for the 15th (£80) and restart my offical budget from the 21st.
Holiday is full! And I have not even added visiting friends :rotfl: My prize ticket finally arrived for Saturday and I need to visit a libary on Friday to print everything else... 4 days to go :j :j
