I have just had an arguement with myself on this thread about money/my signature/budgets/guilt, but I deleted it because it was rubbish and made no sense at all! Edit @ 6.32am I have just deleted another post. Sorry Taxi
Sometimes you just have to live a little eh!
CC min payment is £39.85 this month so more than enough with the payment I will be reciving from work. I will sent the whole £47.xx to the CC. Might even round it up to £50. I am hoping on the 4th I can add another £50 too.
I transfered £37 to my brothers Paypal today but got the cash first. He also gave me £10 as yesterday I took him to a mini moto meet. So that has been split as - £10 cake show, £30 petrol, £5 swim and £1.90 3 drinks while out. As a side note I have to purchase some ear plugs from somewhere or I am going to do serious damage to my ears. So my budget now looks like:
£259.24
£90 car saves
£73 bills
£8.92 RAC
£37.00 paypal
£13.00 craft box
£37.49 Zatchel (with care spray)
= -10p
I shall also be using some money from my car saves (replacing next Fri) to spend approx £10 in ikea this morning to fix my desk and the clock downstairs. I am not going to justify why, I know I am in debt and should be throwing all spare cash at my debt but sometimes....
Anyways have a great Sunday all and I am sorry if I have let anyone down with my decisions these last couple of days.

Well personally I am dancing and cheering. You work hard and VERY rarely do something just for you, and a lot for others. I hope that your satchel is beautiful and it gives you pleasure. Have you ever considered being a nurse PAP? you so clearly have the attributes needed. Have a good week-end.0

Epic post - sorry
Why did I post, have a lovely Sunday earlier? :rotfl: Its because I have holiday today/tomorrow!tootallulah wrote: »Well personally I am dancing and cheering. Many thanks Toots, I must say I do not feel at all guilty, which is good. I didn't actually get a satchel but one of their barrel bags, in my fav colour. I have thought about becoming a nurse, I actually did a timeline of my future for my NVQ work and nurse training was in there. I don't know if I can justify the cost though? If I were to become a nurse I would ideally like to be a district nurse.
So today has been mad! Got up at 6am, ordered bag, went to ikea/pets at home/libary, went swimming (amazingly being the first day of the season it was really quiet), went to £shop and charity shop... Now knockered.
So spends: Green is cash, Blue lil brother paid and Orange is debit card.
£9.75 - 2 Ikea breakfasts, cake, two drinks, two icecreams and sweets for Mum (myself and lil brother, he did purchase lunch yeasterday)
£13.85 - wall clock (to fix clock downstairs), 2 storage boxes, 1 place mat (for crafting), 1 bowl (lil brother), 4 glasses (Mum has looked at these for ages), £3 fabric (make a drawstring bag to go inside new bag), a large worktop saver for desk (bargian basement) and 2 bath mats (extras)
£0.82 - first pets at home - choc and a treat for dog
£6.50 - swimming, 2 drinks and crisps + change in MS society charity tin they were completing a swim marathon.
£9.75 - second pets at home - 2 huge bags of dreamies for cat and fish background (what we were looking for)
£25.36 - petrol (£15.36 and £10.00)
£5.00 - £shop - ear plugs, 2 mouse mats, windchime (to decopacth) and 2 boxes of stickers OCC
£0.50 - charity shop - bin for bedroom
= £37.43 cash and £33.60 card.
So still only have £25 in my cake tin as recorded earlier and only £9.75 in my MOT pot as I haven't transfered anything over.
The £33.60 I took from my car saves so I will be replacing that over the next two weeks @ £17 each week. I could have forgone the food in ikea, the bath mats/glasses/fabric, everything in PAH and the windchime. But I am not regretting any of it!
Decided I want to swim 1258 laps of the pool this season, thats a marathon, inspired by today's swimmers. I did 27 today but thats out of condition, I did do a lap in 50sec thoughNo swimming Monday though because of finances but might try and go next weekend.
Back on track now for the coming month's :T

Ooooh! Just had a look at the website and am very tempted by a green saddle bag - particularly at 50% off.

Oops - just bought the green saddle bag and it's all your fault PAP :rotfl:Not really, I've been on the look out for a bag to go with a navy and white outfit. The green will add a great splash of colour. Love it that they're made in the UK too.

And an oops from me too - it's a red 16" satchel, I saw cheaper plastic ones on ebay and had been swithering but this is leather and will hopefully last a lifetime. Thanks for the tip PAP:DMortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Lovely colour bag PAP. District nurse sounds good, short time with no money, long term gain of a fulfilling career. Good luck with the NVQs.0

Sorry ladies
FS I did look at the sadle bags but I wanted the buckle on show. I will see what this one is like and I might ask for money at christmas/birthday to purchase another! SS, did you add handle and slider or just go with the standard?

I think you have summed it up really! I will need to look into things, ie will I get a student loan etc. But I would love to get a career, don't get me wrong this is a fab job and I have never been happier but unless you want to become a manager and then end up behind a desk you are stuck at this level. Plus its not stimulating enough, especially when you are put with the same people/runs. If I could study/train and still work p/t it would be a compromise... I need to spend a few hours looking into it/see what courses I need etc. But huge thanks for getting me thinking about it, I might even be able to start next Sep  We shall see...0
