    :rotfl: Beanie.

So went out and I did get 'some' treats but they were reduced items. I got 4 shampoos as they were on offer, that should last me 4+ months. I got some reduced fish for the cat and some reduced meat for the dog. I also got me some drinks and crisps. All in £39.76 after discount. Plus my hair is £5 which I have in my purse so there should be at least £40 for CC :T

Meals: fish pie, bolognese (cottage pie and spag bol), pork cheeks, lemon chicken, ham and cheese filled pasta, chinese ribs, chicken pie, steak pie, chicken and mushroom pie, h/m fish and chips and chicken gojons. All sevred with frozen and tinned veg, some sort of potatoe.

I tottaly forgot that I need an apron and head scarf for next Sat :o Going to see if there are cheapies on ebay otherwise I may see if I have a bag/fabric that I can make one with if I buy some lace etc. We shall see...

Feel a bit more positive, even if I droped a tin on my bare toe, twice in the same spot. Oww!

Its work related but I need to dress up. It needs to be 1940's inspired. I have a grey bag which I think I will chop up. Add some cheap lace (can get some in town Friday maybe) and some flower fabric (cheap/might have some) and it should be 'ok'. Its going to be handmade/cheape as I will only wear it once

Well mum had a day off today (she works every saturday) and she wanted to visit a family friend. So I agreed to take her but wanted to take the friend something so purchased a flower and Mum added a butterfly. So after taking £10 out the wall and visiting friend we decided to take a look around the charity shops.... Got the following

    £2 flower for friend
£3 skirt to cut up for apron (c/s)
    69p elastic for apron (c/s)
£1.50 lace for apron (local shop)
£1 5* post it note things for OCC
£1.50 light bulbs can finally use my new lamp :T

= £9.69 with change put into my piggy banks

That leaves £43 for my CC saves :):):)

I shall share the outcome of the apron/head scarf later in the week.

I also thought I would share a blog I have been reading this week, its actaully a poster here on MSE. Its Ilona she is very frugal, wastes hardly anything, walks miles and is generally quite funny. I started at the current day and working back and I have get to find the first post. I have learn't a lot for her.

Finished the apron, this was before. This is after! Decided on a headband as opposed to scarf as my hair has now been cut and its very short! If I were to wear a scarf you will not see my hair.

Don't think I did a bad job, for £5.19 and an original bag that cost £1. Might not be the right colours but its what I had. I looked online and the cheapest apron for instant dispatch was £5.95 + £2.95 p&p and a headscarf was £3.99 + £1.85 p&p. I think I made a good saving :T They will both be donated to the charity shop once I have finished with them.

Asside from that I have also finished reading Ilona's blog, I have cleared the whole garden, re-potted plants from the garden, baked cakes (using brown sugar instead of caster :shhh:) and made dinner.

So this week I am off work and sadly I don't have a lot of nvq work to do so I am going to do things around the house. These include:
    * Making a new shoe rack (using the old one and wood from the garden which is now drying off)
    * Finish the bathroom (tiling mainly)
    * Paint my remaining gnome
    * Finish croqueting my blanket (test for an xmas gift)
    * Water change on the fish tanks
    * Attempt to make a recycled bag (as seen on Ilona's blog)

Thats enough jobs for now :D

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
