However shopping with your brother does pay off :T
I recieved £3.50 clubcard vouchers but was saving them to get easter eggs for brother and mum, however my lil brother hasn't got a car at the moment and *needed* to go to a shop. So we ended up in tesco, they had a lamp I liked for £4 but was always OOS. Well today they still were but I saw a nicer one reduced. So...
£3.75 - lamp
50p - reduced 12 pens for OCC
£3 - reduced 6 single sealed mosi (?) monsters OCC
£3.50 clubcard vouchers and £2.25 cash (the remaining money in purse). My lil brother paid the remainder and he also brought me Costa while there, I collected the points
We then went in Mr M's and had lunch (he paid) and he also bought me a £5 magazine. All free :j
So a great day all round, I did have to drop him to work but he only works 5min away now so thats good. He is also putting petrol in my car as I need to take him to collect his car on Mon/Tue.
Quite a nice day and I also managed to clean the three fish tanks in record time :T Now off to make more hats for OCC and look through my magazine.
Have a lovely Saturday all!

I was in that tesco today - that's if you were in the local two storey one;)
I walked out with 12 Easter eggs!
Found it very disconcerting that the travelators (?) weren't working. Felt quite strange walking up and down them.0 -
Beanie it was great!
Dangers, :rotfl: wow yes! My brother got 4, apparently he is going to eat them now as they are cheaper than bars of chocHe too was put off that he had to walk up the travaltors... Untill I pointed out he walks them anyways to get to the top/bottom faster :rotfl: Wish I had known you were there we could have had coffee together.

Could I ask for some help please? I am planning to change car insurance providor this year. Last year I foolishly didn't swap to a cheaper insurer but I must this year. So can someone explain the payments to me please?
I started my insurance on 15th May and thats when the first payment of the 'year' left my account. So am I correct when I say the last payment to the current procidor will be in April and the May payment will go to the new providor? I have read all my paperwork this morning but never having changed insurance for anything before (dog ins is fixed and house insurance is with a broker) I am at a loss.
I know my currect providor will send me a cancellation letter so when can I sign up to my new providor? I am guessing as soon as I cancel it with the current providor? But Will I be covered with my current providor untill 14th May and my new providor has to cover me from the 15th May?
This is confusing!

You don't have to cancel it with your old provider, just let them know that you won't be renewing. Otherwise you can end up losing the year's NCB.
If you know your renewal date, which will be on your insurance certificate, then just get the new insurance to start from that date0 -

Many thanks Sparkle, I don't have any NCD's to move over so thats no problem but I shall let them know I will not be renewing instead of cancellingThanks that makes sense, thankyou for your time to comment.
