I know its awful. They were quite consistant and I could look at my petrol needed and guess to the £1 how much it will take to fill but the last two weeks I have got it wrong  Checking the recipets its the unit cost :o

    :cool2:
  • I use roughly 20-25 litres a week, that's usually around £30 for my diesel but I think it'll hit £35 before I go off on leave in June!
  • Thats a lot isn't it Sparkles! I am unsure how many litres I get/use, I will have to let you know.

    So budget :j

    480.10 in bank tom

    £150 car ins (out tomorrow)
    £145 bills (saves for 15th)
£50.00 CC (paying on the 8th)
    £53.00 Rent

    = 398.00
    = 82.10 remain

However, I am not in work now until next weekend and will only get SSP :(Its only 4 days work I shall miss but my wage will not be good and will effect next Friday and the Friday afters pay. No good working while sick though!

    Take care all

  • Gah, somehow I failed to subscribe (probably because I did it from my phone, which isn't the most reliable beast!). Done now. :)

Hope you are well again very soon, but you're right about not working if you're too ill to.

You are so good at keeping your finances in check. I have come to the conclusion recently that I am great at organising mine, but much less good at sticking to the things I organise! Fortunately, thanks to the wonders of direct debit, I don't miss payments, but if I had to do it all manually...

  • Many thanks Beanie and Snaggs :j

Lol at your organising but not remembering to pay Snaggs. I must admit I too would be lost if I had to pay bills and remember to pay them. I suppose you would find a way but its a lot of hassle. Thank heavens for direct debits :D

I am unsure how I am going to pay my bills this month now! I have £80 left this week, next week I should get paid 22 hours plus 1 day SSP (£11), the following week I will get 3 days SSP (£33) plus 13 hours. So approx £152.90 and £116.85. So I should technically have enough if I delay my rent payments and maybe put one weeks of fuel on my CC. I have had to go back to 'normal' eating as there is no way I can afford to go shopping. Thankfully I don't need anything and I will be fine until I am back to work.
