If you have an IAP with them do they honour the deal?0

I highly doubt it. Those're just illustrations. The rate and other particulars are worked out at the time of application.0 -

An AIP is only a theoretical assessment of what they are likely to lend to you, based on the information at that stage. It is not a deal and therefore there is nothing to honour.
If there is an actual mortgage offer, issued on a particular property for a particular amount and after a survey, then that offer will remain valid for a set period. It shouldn't be withdrawn unless further information comes to light about the applicant etc.0 -
They accepted a remortgage over the phone and sent out the contracts but not signed yet - looks like I may have lost this deal then0

If it's a mortgage offer that was sent and requires signing and sending back to them, then you have the rate that's been quoted in the document. Just above where you sign it says you accept the offer on the terrms set out above0 -

:rotfl:You can come out now:)
It's just that the forum rules say no multiple posts, not least because it's very frustrating to spend a while considering a thread / post, and to formulate a reply, and then to find that lots of other people have already dealt with the point elsewhere0
