can't get my credit report???

This has probably already been answered a hundred times but I have been unable to find the right thread so apologies.

I am trying to sort out my debts (approx £1500) and decided to get a credit report. I used Noddle but upon putting my details through their system I received the following message;

We’re sorry but we’ve not been able to provide you access to your Noddle credit report.
As your credit report contains such personal and important financial information we need to make sure that we only make it available to the right person and unfortunately we’ve not been able to automatically verify and validate your identity at this time.
We’re continually making updates to our processes and we hope that this will allow more people to be automatically matched so please do come back in the future and try again.

Has this happened to anyone else??? If so, why? and how else can I get to see my credit report?

Thaks in advance,

    It means that you haven't had long enough on the electoral roll or at addresses they can verify. I got this a while ago and a few months later (once I'd been at my address longer) it went through fine.

    You will probably have to use the free trial (or paid £2 report) from experian or equifax instead. They offer a postal confirmation where you can send them ID to confirm your identity if the automatic verification fails.

    I'm having this problem too but I have been living here for 5 years and am on the electrol roll. Any ideas anyone. I was using a nationwide cash card + to verify if that makes any difference.

    Does your address exist on the Royal Mails Postal Address File (PAF) ?

    If it doesnt then Noddle cant find you.

    I had this problem and by contacting Noddle via their facebook page they will give you instructions on how to get your address added.
