Making funeral 'nana' flowers

we have ordered the oasis and stand from ebay and plan to let the kids put in the flowers (they are 6 and 2x3) She would have liked that 
Any suguestions on what flowers we should use? does it matter ?? Grandad wont care
One of the twins has suguested a dandylions as he found one on nanas lawn and brought it in to her every morning i was thinking more chrysathamums and daisys?

Hi, I would say chrysanthemums, carnations and foliage or ribbon around the edges would be lovely. The idea of a dandelion is sweet too and you could always include some of these. As for foliage, if you have some evergreens near your house or in your garden, bits chopped of of this would be useful and would finish it off nicely. Hth

I love the idea of including dandylions, my great nan died when I was 6, funeral flowers were ordered from florists and people brought along flowers but the ones the church decided to put onto of the coffin was a tiny bunch of flowers I had picked with my other nan. I always think funeral flowers are best when they are personal rather than expensive florist ones.
