I'm not sure if this is on the right board, so apologies if it isn't but I'm not sure where I stand on some text's I keep receiving and if I am okay to keep ignoring them.
I haven't applied for a loan and now I've received a message stating:
FINAL NOTICE: your debt consolidation loan has been pre approved - please call 01614864804 to process your application... with previous texts it also gave a number to text if I didn't want the application however as I haven't applied I disregarded it as spam... now I'm just worried a loan I do not want will be set up without my agreement. The number the text is being sent from is 07403 937045 but I googled the number and cannot find out who it is from.
Any advice appreciated.

Ignore them. They're randomly generated or from a sold list of numbers hoping to reel in a few suckers. Don't text to opt out, it can only make it worse.0

Stockport (0161) seems to he the epicentre of the financial scamming community.
Don't even be tempted to reply with some abuse.0 -
yeah we've had them too, ignore completely.0

Forward it to your mobile network spam number http://www.ico.gov.uk/for_the_public/topic_specific_guides/marketing/texts.aspx ensuring you add the number it came from into the message. The number used will be disposable.0
