I'm getting £100 for it. Not a King's Ransom but better than nowt...Personally, I'd like one of the photos as it's one of the only one of me I've ever liked!!! (must be from watching Americas Next Top Model!)
SIL IS a 'bit of a one' (in fact, DH and I refer to her as the 'highland coo')

When i was younger if we were ever pictured in the local paper my mum would get a copy from the papers office. You could call and buy a print - not very much money usually (i'm thinking about £5 max). It just sort of covered their costs.
Why not call and ask if you could 'buy' a copy. The worst they could do is say no - or charge you a huge amount of money :rotfl:r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
I may do that. Thanks!

Hi Bunny, been reading your thread over the last few days and finally got my hands on the April edition today. What a fab story. Your MIL and SIL should be proud of you, your not hiding from your problems your facing them and dealing with them appropriately. So what if they talk about you behind your back it just go to show their ignorance.
You go girl x0 -
Bunny, just read the article. Well done - and fantastic photo's of you - you should definately get copies for yourself and dont forget to autograph them for your family lol!..May tomorrow bring new horizon's...... ::j0

Hi Bunny
How did it go with your MIL and SIL yesterday?Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
Well,
I was in a mood all day stressing about it-finally gave it to MIL to read at the end of the day and the first thing she said (after glancing at the by-lines quickly) was 'oh my son is so scary you're petrified of him!' (obviously NOT understanding what the article was about-and for the record, I am NOT pertrified of him, I was scared of telling him!) And then she laughted nervously a bit then started to read the article. She couldn't finish it as we were getting into the car to leave and she took the mag home to read...SIL wasn't with us.
Not sure what she thinks to be honest, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough...
Thasnk for asking. I'm a bit fed up with the whole thing now-feeling like I've done something 'wrong' all over again! Like my best friend said to me, 'you're not a bad person Kassi, just bad with money!'
Must keep telling myslef that.

I managed to get a copy yesterday and thought it was great and i'm sure it will help alot of people. Hope your MIL and SIL realises how well you have done and how brave you were to go public.
Don't feel feel about things again, my story is similar to yours, my husband has never had any debt and I had to come clean, Yes a few times too, but at least we are doing the right thing now.

Thank you very much Len,
In my husbands family, You ARE a bad person for being in debt...That's why SIL divorced her husband!
The family has no problem rubbishing him all the time!
