Well,
MIL knows it's coming out...We're going out for the day together tomorrow (a Christams present) so I'll bring the magazine along I suppose.
Thing is, SIL divirced her first husband because of his 'debt' and because he was awful with money! I know they won't expect us to 'break up' but I know they'll be a lot of smugness and talking aout me behind my back...
I'll just have to deal with it won't I?!

I have, for the first time since November 2005, been and bought a magazine - yes, Essentials!

Bunny - you are absolutely stunning - they are fab pics and your story will no doubt help others.

I don't really know what I'm worrying about-for Goodness sakes! If Hubby WAS going to leave me, surely he would have done ages ago, lol.
I always worry about what other people will think about me and as much as I extend the hand of friendship out to SIL, she will NEVER like me, end of. Must just get over it and move on.

As for MIL, maybe, just maybe they'll understand a bit more WHY I need her help with babysitting...

If anyone is struggling to get a copy, if you go on their website, you can click on the 'Find a newsagent...' link to find the newsagents near you that stock it.

The newsagents link is quite small, and down towards the bottom of the page.

I think you're very brave, and there's no shame in dealing with your problems. The people that know you won't think any worse of you (than they did already - your SIL sounds a bit of a one!) and what does the opinion of people who don't know you count for?

Did the magazine pay you - I hope so!

I'm getting £100 for it. Not a King's Ransom but better than nowt...Personally, I'd like one of the photos as it's one of the only one of me I've ever liked!!! (must be from watching Americas Next Top Model!)
SIL IS a 'bit of a one' (in fact, DH and I refer to her as the 'highland coo')
