Powerkite Sports

We'll be taking you and a friend to school on any powerkite sport. Class in session! Experience must be taken by 20th June.

1. The draw will run for 6 weeks, with entry for the first draw opening on 4th April 2012. The last draw will close on 16th May 2012.
2. Entry for each weekly draw will open at 00.00 on the Wednesday, and close at 23.59 the following Tuesday, except for the first draw, which will open at 09.00 on Wednesday 4th April, and close at 23.59 the following Tuesday.
3. Entry is open to residents of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, aged 18 years or over, except employees and their immediate families of the Promoter or Administrator, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion.
4. To be eligible to enter the draw, entrants via Facebook will be required to select three vegetables from a choice of eight on the Live Fresh, Win Big competition page, by clicking on three of the images of vegetables displayed on the page, submitting their name and email address, authorizing the Facebook app to access their basic information, and submitting their entry.
5. To be eligible to enter the draw, entrants via Twitter will be required to tweet three vegetables from a choice of eight on the Live Fresh, Win Big competition page, in the following format: #Vegetable #Vegetable #Vegetable #livefreshwinbig
6. The format of the vegetables in tweets will have to be as follows - any variations on these formats or incorrect spellings will be discounted and not eligible to enter the draw: jalapenos, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, pickles, red_onions, cucumbers, peppers
7. Every entrant who selected, in any order, the three winning vegetables (as randomly selected in advance by the Administrator, as per point 9 below) for that week will be entered into a prize draw, and the Promoter will randomly select one weekly winner from this pool of people within 48 hours of the draw entry period closing, and announce the winner on the official SUBWAY® UK & Ireland Facebook & Twitter accounts, and the Live Fresh, Win Big competition page.
8. The weekly winning combinations of vegetables for all six draws will be randomly selected in advance of the opening of the first draw entry period by the Administrator.
9. Entrants can enter each weekly draw a maximum of one hundred times across both Facebook and Twitter combined. Further entries will be discounted and only the first hundred entries will be considered.
10. For entries via Twitter, retweets will not be considered. Any retweets will be discounted and not included in the prize draw.
11. For entries via Twitter, tweets need to be publicly viewable. The Promoter will not have access to any entries for the draw that have been tweeted privately.
12. For entries via Twitter, only the first three vegetables will be considered. Any further vegetables will be discounted.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entrants who have obscene Facebook or Twitter profile names or avatars. The Promoter’s decision regarding what constitutes obscene is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. There will be six weekly prize draws. At the end of each weekly period, the draw will re-open and entrants can submit a new entry.
15. Entrants’ chances of winning are based on the number of entries received for that week’s draw.
16. The winning combination of vegetables will be announced, along with that week’s winner, on SUBWAY® UK & Ireland’s official Facebook and Twitter pages, as well as on the Live Fresh, Win Big site
17. Prizes for the weekly draws will be as follows – Week 1: Introduction to Powerkite sports (£129); Week 2: Land Yachting (£129); Week 3: Zapcat powerboat experience (£99.99); Week 4: Jet ski experience (£49.99); Week 5: Bungee catapult (£60); Week 6: Parachute jump (£285).
18. All prizes are provided by Acorne PLC and by entering the draw, entrants accept all Acorne PLC’s terms and conditions for that week’s prize and Acorne’s general terms and conditions.
19. The Promoter and the Administrator take no responsibility or liability for the actions or omissions of Acorne PLC.
20. For any prize that allows the winner to take a friend to also participate in the experience (this will be specified on the Live Fresh, Win Big competition site), the friend agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions, and also by those of the prize fulfillment agents.
21. By entering the draw, entrants agree that they are available to claim their prize at the location specified on the Live Fresh, Win Big page, and before the specified date. The Promoter will contact the weekly winners after they have been drawn to confirm that winners accept the terms and conditions for Live Fresh, Win Big, as well as the specific terms relevant to that week’s prize, as well as to co-ordinate the logistics of prize redemption.
22. The Promoter will arrange a mutually acceptable time with the winner for them to experience the prize. The first possible prize redemption date is no sooner than four weeks after the Promoter informs the winner that they have won. The Promoter reserves the right to postpone the prize experience day beyond the final cut-off point. This decision will be at the Promoter’s discretion, but will only be taken if situations arise outside of the Promoter’s control.
23. If the Promoter and winner cannot agree a mutually acceptable time within 15 working days of the opening of correspondence, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next randomly-selected winner.
24. Winners will have to confirm in writing with their signature that they accept these terms and conditions within four working days of the Promoter contacting them. Failure to confirm acceptance of the terms will result in the winner being disqualified, and the prize will be re-allocated to the next randomly-selected winning entry.
25. If the winner is not able to claim their prize at the specified location or by the specified date, the prize will be re-allocated to the next randomly-selected winning entry.
26. Winners are responsible for making their own way to the location of the prize experience, as specified on the Live Fresh, Win Big site. It is the winner’s responsibility to make their way there. If the winner does not attend or for whatever reason misses the slot booked at the time mutually agreed by the winner and Promoter (to be determined after the winner is notified by the Promoter), the Promoter accepts no responsibility and will not rearrange the prize experience.
27. The Promoter will cover reasonable travel costs up to £100 per winner (for which receipts will have to be provided). All other expenses and costs are the sole responsibility of winner. Each prize winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use.
28. If a prize is no longer available the Promoter shall provide a substitute which it believes in its absolute discretion is a reasonable substitute for the prize.
29. There will be no cash alternatives.
