Hi,

Just wanted to find out if my neighbor is committing mortgage fraud, and if so how can i report it.

The guy who owns the house calls himself the landlord, and he lives there with his friends. Now i am not sure if he has a private mortgage which may not entail him to allow tenants? or does this have to be buy to let mortgage? and if so, can he live there with them?

How can i report this?

Probably is a tenant and sub lets.

I know of one case where a Chinese family sublet their rented property. In total 17 people , 3 families were sharing.........

Thanks for your reply. So is this legal? if not how can i report this?

Also the so claimed landlord living there with friends claims to own the property.

How can i find out more, or maybe report this?

Is it causing you issues?

Worth a post on the House Renting, Buying and Selling board if it is. There'll know the best course of action.
