At last, my SSW has sprung into life, luckily it has solaredge and a 45 deg roof and was protected from the bulk of the snow(still covering a couple of panels), currently hitting 800Wh generation which is more than enough for everything currently being usedsmiley-happy019.gif

edit:- Just hit 1kW generation, can put my travel kettle on now

Whilst I'm paying ridiculous Bristol/Wessex water charges & even more ridiculous SWEB electricity rates, it's not ;)

We get fleeced down here. Seems the electrons struggle to make it "this far" South ;)

edit - but at least I still get to say "It's grim up North" with a half joking mischiveous grin on my face ;)

    4.4 kWh today - or 1.12 O's.

I sunk 3kW of that into the underfloor heating. It makes a surprising difference not having a cold floor beneath your feet!

Had I switched off Avatars, I would never have know what Tunnel looked like.
I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".
  • Poor day here near to Meriden. 0.4 Os. Now stand corrected in using DC rating of panels as denominator.

2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
