Given that we live in one of the dark grey areas, I'm amazed we managed to record 90% of PVGIS. I'll chalk that up as a positive outcome. Our green credentials: 12kW Samsung ASHP for heating, 7.2kWp Solar (South facing), Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh), Net exporter4 -
Technically, this year was our 2nd best, thanks to PV expansion (so I'm cheating). But in %age terms I'm quite shocked, just looked back and the worst year was 2020 with 93% of target. So looks like October has been surprisingly good for me, since 2011, I had no idea.NedS said:QrizB said:For anyone who was thinking that last month's generation was a bit low, apparently it was the dullest October for almost 60 years:Quite a good month for a small patch of Scotland, though!

This year's 69% looks fair according to the map, as we are roughly on the boundary between less than, and more than 70% areas.
But orientation is even weirder - the bulk of capacity is ESE + SSW, and that achieved 64%, whilst the small WNW achieved a mighty 95%. I guess the weather improved in the aftrenoon, on average.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Half an O, rounded up is h.
