Same here @pete-20-11 except I'll be moving to Cosy once the heating goes on. My spreadsheet says IOF is still the tariff for September, and October is the cross over point for us.pete-20-11 said:2.96 Os.

I jumped too late onto IOF this year. Start of March appeared to be the best time to join in hindsight. Joined in April.NedS said:4.3 O's today

You can disconnect the battery from the octopus app as soon as you've changed the tariff to cosy, or before if you wish.
The import switch will take a few hours to sort. The export switch could be up to four days, but I believe they back date the calculation to the start of the day you asked to leave.
If you remain on a time of use (time of export?!) tariff, it shouldn't take more than a day to switch.
But I guess the fixed (but now variable) 15p export is probably the best option.
Changing from a ToU/ToE tariff to a "fixed" tariff means they move from using the 48 half hour export slots in the meter to just using the index reading. Thus it can take up to four days to get the meter updated and for the billing to appear correct, reflecting the new export tariff.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled!
