Naughty boy, burned a half gallon of E5 98 in an old scrambler trying to keep up with all the other silly ol' so & so's pretending they're still teenagers. No harm done escaped unscathed.

Felt like the weather wasn't very good this month but actually ended up at 108% of PVGIS. Probably the amazing weather since March has made me forget what "normal" is like.

Quite surprised to be 19.3% above PVGIS for August and my second best August ever after 2022.

August per my inverter stats:

323 kWh, 119 Os, 115% of PVGIS.

That'll do nicely.

August results. 

Nice month with 106% of target. Wide spread, with 102% for the ESE/SSW* and 119% for the WNW. Year end projection ~100.5% of target. [First time this year it's been positive.]

[*2.1kWp SSW ground mount is steep pitched for winter, and sits between a large tree to the SE and the house to the SW, so will incurr some shading throughout Apr-Sep.]

Generated 870kWh (99.71 O's).
Imported 293kWh.
Exported 664kWh.
Total consumption 499kWh. 
Gas was ~44kWh. [DHW & oven.]

Import and consumption reasonable, as it includes BEV charging, vast majority at cheap night rate.

Export earned ~£102 so well above full month leccy and gas bill of ~£53.

YTD , August turnout better than expected , looking back it appears that July has been below PVGIS for the 3 years I’ve had panels hmmm

Pleasently suprised to have averaged out 4.01 O's last week of Aug.  In the end was at 118% of PVGIS.
