Hi everyone,
Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes anyway.
I'm going to cook some chicken breasts with 'Spanish Chicken' Chicken Tonight sauce.
I have 4 breasts which I've defrosted but this will be too much for me so my question is can I cook them all in the sauce, have half and then freeze the remainder?
If so, how long would it keep for in the freezer and how would I reheat (microwave? how long for in a 700w microwave?).
Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, the rule is you can freeze chicken twice (total).
Once when it is fresh and once after it has been cooked.
So, provided you cook the chicken and put it back in it will be OK, if you just put it back in the freezer (without cooking it) it might contain lots of bacteria and bad bugs.
for re-heating you have to make sure it is 'piping hot' before eating, you can do it in a microwave, in the oven or however as long as if you cut it in half and tried to eat the middle it is steamin and you would burn your tongue (if you were daft enough to try eating it straight from the oven!)
And make sure you re-heat it at a high temperature i.e high in a micro., 200c/ gas mark 6? in an oven. When life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0 -

Fresh Or Frozen .cooked Chicken Or Any Meat Should Be Precooked Cooled Very-very Quickly And Re-frozening Freezing Section As Quickly As Possible . When Reheating Use The Defrost Dial On The Micro Wave Then Reheat To 70deg In Centre Of The Meal On Maxium Power Leave For 4mins For The Heat To Transfer Then Enjoy
Make Sure No Surface Or Containers Are Contaminated With The Raw Chicken. Iwould Not Recommend This Practise To Very The Young Or Old Best To Be Safe Than Sorry0 -
It should be reheated to at least 75 degrees.Bulletproof0
