Cleaning my sofa

I have 2and 3 seater sofas,they are upholstery cushions and back with leather arms.
I cannot take of the cushion covers at all,would not get them back on .
How can I clean them?
The fabric is a sculptured thick velour,also 4 large scatter cushions.
Any ideas?

Why wouldn't you get them back on?

They are so tight on the the foam cushion ,cant even get them off.and i am sure the zips would bust trying.

For seats that I can't remove, I tend to use Vanish carpet mousse or an aerosol of car upholstery shampoo - you can often pick these up in Home Bargains

I know it is not very money saving but it really is worth having it professionally cleaned as it will make a new sofa out of it.

My neighbour had hers done and it looked brand new and smelt wonderful.
