The companies will happily raid accounts the moment you miss a repayment, borrow from their pal (in trying to pay them of) or don't agree, if they do have card details, thats how I imagine it

And banks can mess up to sometimes !
  • Question....why are you in debt if its down to greed? Gambling?
The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!

If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

4 people on the ignore list....Bliss!
  • No to both for me! but was VERY foolish and desperate with my choices
anyway money does not buy you everything

You can't change the past, but, you can change the future and it is what you do now that matters most (not hiding head in the sand)

If I was to phone them and set up payment plans will they just try help themselves with funds in my new account or is that against there agreement if I hand over payment details to pay a amount etc will they then just use the details again. What's best method of payment.

The whole point of opening a new account (with another bank) is so that the PDL companies don't know about it and cannot get money from it, so don't give them the details. Whatever payments you do make to them - do it form another source (e.g. the existing account).
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
  • Thanks, I've got the ball rolling, applied for total different account as I logged into wonga and seen that I paid them back one month with my alternative account. So will get account sorted out and then start my contact with the campainies

    Thanks everyone,

Can you go to a family member/ friend to help you out? I had to in the end and was then best thing I ever did.

You will never get away from them if you dont.

Think you should do what others have been advising you first though....

    Good luck.

another Q: is credit rating that bad that you cannot get a loan or overdraft elsewhere?
  • Yeah unfortunately it is. Since been in the army I've never been able to get anything. Ive tried bank and if they ain't going to give me anything I doubt anyone will, I don't wanna get sucked in anymore than I am
